i have to agree with you. what's up with his stomach area? :slap

It's not actually his stomach area. It's the abdominal muscle tissue around his rib cage on the left and his lats on the right but it looks like it's his stomach in pictures taken at certain angles. It looks fine in person.

Just got mine 388/700. Absolutely love it. My first premium format and it won't be my last. The X-Men PF collection is going to look awesome. I'll post some pics later on but don't think I'll be able to top the photos already posted.

One nitpick I'm wondering about. The middle claw on his right hand is not the longest one. Instead it is the top one that is the longest (the one closest to his thumb). Is this a valid complaint or am I just being ____? Any fellow collectors have this same situation? Thanks in advance.

Congrats! Looks fine to me...

I noticed my claws were somewhat smudged looking when I received my Wolverine. It's barely noticeable and it's only little smudges on the claws. It seems to rub off for the most part and is just a nitpick of mine but I was wondering if anyone else noticed anything like this?

I have the same problems as well. There are even some that can't be rubbed off but it isn't noticeable unless you really look for it. There were also some spots that had black paint specks on it. Those rubbed off fine.

Yea I figured they all must have some smudges but just wanted to be sure I wasn't the only one. Thanks Darren.

Hey Flips. I looked at my claws after your post, and noticed that the middle claw is a TINY bit shorter than the first. But honestly, you can't tell unless you're looking for it. So I'd say don't worry about it :)

I actually sent in a request yesterday to have my heads replaced due to a chipped fang and running paint on the teeth of the EX head. Hopefully they get replaced!

No problem at all. The metal claws really make this piece. Great to see that they are using something other than fabric and leather for the "mixed media" format. Is this the first time that metal has been used?

This is the first statue I've got that has actual metal in it that I'm aware of. There could possibly be others but I'm not sure.

Got mine today and i've got to say pics don't give the ex head justice. Its a beautiful little thing and nicely painted. Glad i've got the option to switch heads...

Yep, they're going to look fantastic together. But with Gambit, Cyclops and Rogue based on Jim Lee's designs, a brown costumed Wolverine would go better. I understand Wolverine was designed to be a companion piece with Sabretooth, but I wonder if Sideshow will tweak the brown costumed Wolverine's base to go with the other X-Men.

The only other PF I can think of that included metal component is the Uruk-Hai Berserker PF from the LOTR line. That bad boy's cleaver was made entirely of metal.

I hope they don't all end up having a boring "X" base. And I agree about the brown Wolverine. Wonder when we'll get to see him.

Also I didn't bring this up initially but it is bugging me the more I see it. My regular head has green/blue paint on it. It is easily seen up close (especially the flesh part where his cheeks are). You cannot tell at all from a distance. Contacted Sideshow anyways and will see if they can take care of it.

One of the worst cloth applications to date. I think the Spidey PF actually turned out better.

It's a shame that the comiquette wasn't a true 1/4 scale piece... it's so much better in every aspect, except the claws.
