It's a shame that the comiquette wasn't a true 1/4 scale piece... it's so much better in every aspect, except the claws.

Did you get yours yet jbinny? I'm just curious if you still feel the same way after seeing it first hand. Although I didn't have a problem with the costume, I wasn't too fond of the pose....that was until I saw it in person. It's now one of my favorite pieces and fits in very nicely with Hulk, Thor, and Captain America PF's.

I hear that. I love this statue more now that I have it in hand. I think the pics on this site are excellent but not even the best can do this piece justice imo. It really does go great with other PF's. It's one of my favorites as well.

Id say the PF is a better pose the face.. but the paint on the commi is nicer...The claws freaking ROCK on the PF.

So it all depends i guess.

True dat. Wolvie PF succeeds in every possible way, more in person than in pictures. One of the greatest statues of all times, up there with Cap PF.

Wolverine PF EX is really a great piece, my compliments to the Sideshow guys and gals, truly a piece that will become more and more appreciated over time.

Just got mine. This statue is reallllllllly realllly awesome! 90% of peoples complaints now seem really silly to me. The cloth looks perfect and not "pajama like" at all. The exclusive face is detailed and the eye direction works perfectly when he's put up against the hulk PF!!!

Only complaint is the giant tumor on the side of his ribs? from what I can tell they all seem to have it..so Im guessing its just part of the sculpt...but at certain angles it looks like he swallowed a giant frisby...

Yep, everybody and their mother is trying to get rid of him. I've seen prices from $450 to $500.

Not a bad figure, might end up keeping him. Just need to make it through these last few weeks of Sideshow products and a road trip to a family wedding...quite a murderer's row.

To those of you worrying about the length of the claws and soforth, I present to you:

The worst QC problem I've ever seen!

Right out of the box.

The worst part is there isn't the little piece that chipped off in the box. That means it was broken before they wrapped it in the little baggie and stuck it in the box. I've gotten hit with my fair share of doozies in the past, but this mistake is pretty careless.

I got this for a friend as a wedding gift. I'm sure it'll sort itself out, but I'm a little disappointed. The good news is the rest of the figure looks good and I'm really impressed with it overall. It's a great piece.

For those wondering about his size compared to Hulk:

It's tough to get a good picture showing just how much Hulk DWARFS him. It's a great size difference, and it makes it look accurate.

Uhh...they both have their pros and cons. I gotta be honest though, and I think Ill take flak for this...but I think the comiquette face is fugly!
