You found a way to convince yourself you're right? In reality it means those people are satisfied with how it turned out and you wanted something different.
I
think I'm right- though of course I could be wrong.
I agree that people appear to be clearly satisfied with how it turned out- and yes, I wanted something different.
The question though, that I was implying, is- just how much latitude and tolerance is there in what people here consider to be 'precisely' what they wanted?
In other words, would a different facial portrait- with all else being the same- be enough of a difference to these people to have suddenly changed it from a must have to an easy pass?
While I realize there are many collectors here who have some hand in the visual arts- and are adept at visualizing specific alternatives in their imaginations, I think the majority are not like that and are simply admirers/purchasers/collectors- and as such will either buy or not and won't expend a lot of energy thinking/imagining/re-envisioning how something could or should be different. For them, it is what it is.
It's Wonder Woman. She's brandishing bad azz weapons, she's standing atop a nicely executed base (and a damn near elaborately lush one compared to Superman's). It checks off all the boxes needed- hence it's not just a purchase...it the most amazing perfect thing Sideshow has put out this month.
And if I were a company putting out this kind of stuff- the latter is much more the customer base I would prefer. The former can be way too much of a pain in the @ss.
