I´m thinking pre-ordering my fist PF statue, can someone with more experience tell me if the prototype they show us to PO is very different from the final release? I´m not talking about WW (its impossible to know), but in previous releases...

I´m asking this because i had a bad surprise with the T-800 BD 1/4 from enterbay.

Most of the time it's spot on. Little things change from prototype to actual release. The last three pieces I got were spot on. Deadpool, Punisher, and Darth Malgus were exactly as the prototype. Batman instead had some issues, but I still love it.

Batman PF EX is being flipped like crazy... I'm on WL for it and really hoping to get one.... but if the prediction is the price will drop then i'll be really happy

I see bat ex on the bay for 500.00? That a pretty much retail maybe it's the hype at the time? Seems like his prices are pretty low. Not rubbing it in. I'm just saying what I see now. Please don't ban me

It is very tough to say. It is very important to realize that the prototypes have been painted by the BEST painters that SSC has to offer, and the production pieces are painted by workers in a factory. Now, SSC has had some production pieces that are basically identical to their prototypes. The new MJ comiquetter is almost identical to the proto, as are many of SSCs recent releases (Skarr PF, Hulk Maquette, etc..), and with others there are some variation. While the Batman PF varies from the proto in some respects (the chest emblem, costume is slightly less snug) it is still STELLAR, and the issues are can be overlooked by many of us.

Wonder Woman will all depend if they manage to get the painting technique down, similarly to how they got it down with MJ. Now, if they don't get it right, THIS thread will EXPLODE!!

Yep, I wouldn't mind if they would just state their opinion once in a thread, but it is the fact that it goes on page after page, thread after thread. I also think at least one of them is just talking themselves out of wanting the Batman Pf Ex because they missed out... lol.

Well, according to David Igo over at SF there is a plan to make ANOTHER GL PF that will fit in more with the esthetic of an ENTIRE Justice League. SO one that fits in with the Trinity that we have seen. So I guess they wouldn't want to show a GL that wouldn't fit in when they have another planned. Also, the Green Lantern PF is already sold out ... so there is NO NEED to advertise it... lol

Because to people who think so a grail is more than just a number.

The point is there are 2000+ of these out there. They are not rare. You'll always be able to find one even if you have to pay more money for it. The whole "grail" thing makes me laugh when you guys use it for such a mass produced item. But good luck...

Where do you live?
If you don't like it you pay return postage.
If there's an issue they pay return postage or ask you to destroy it.
If you're International and don't like it things get complicated.

"This statue is awesome, best statue ever, blah blah, etc..." Um, no he isn't. Bad quality imo. His emblem peels. He can tip over. Armpit issue. They did not pay attention to quality. I wish more people would tell Sideshow "This is not good enough, this is not what was promised" and then believe me, Sideshow would be darn sure not to mess up again. As for the ones that say people repeat themselves, look in the mirror.
