I understand wanting something you feel is a great piece of art to be rare. That being said if you thinks it's beautiful why would you care if someone else has it. I don't know about you guys but out of the people I know I am the only one who collects these so every time someone comes over to them every piece I own is unique.

It has something to do with competition. Actually I think it mostly has to do with competition.

For some collectors, in any hobbies. I think they take pride and joy owning something exclusives, especially if it's super limited :)

I prefer to own things I find significance in. Owning the first Batman/Superman/Wonder Woman PFs sideshow puts out, which are sculpted by some of the best Sculptors, which I admire, in their employ is awesome. Not to mention the Sculpts, artistcally, are great. So it's win-win for me.

I am standing 2 feet away from him and IMHO there is nothing to be fixed.... He is by far the best new PF I have seen in the last two years... And I have seen all of the most highly touted statues. He is a personal GRAIL to me... Hands down.

How can anything they made 2000+ of be considered a grail?

That's great for you Spidey. This is your first PF and I'm sincerely glad you like him. Now, if you had the chance to see a Doom PF next to Bats you would see a big difference quality-wise. Or any of Sideshow's old PFs, when they had amazing quality (which they are still capable of but it's hit and miss). I saw Bats at my buddy's. I will say, he's very impressive in size but to me his finishing looks very cheap. That is strictly imo and I do not want to take away from the love some of you guys have for this piece. As for ES, if Sideshow would treat DC more reasonably in the 5000-6000 range, I would take no issue, and perhaps those factory workers in China would be less exhausted/over-worked or whatever is causing the QC to drop. Mary Jane and Punisher look flawless, Batman looks awful in comparison imo. And the fact that he can tip over...?! Inexcusable on Sideshow's part. Flawed design pure and simple. As for Supes, I REALLY hope he doesn't have one issue. If he does, back he goes. Now if WW is reasonable in ES and looks great painted, I will buy. If not, no biggie. I haven't PO'd her yet, nor do I plan to at this point until I see numbers on Ex and Reg.

Yeah not sure I will even order her as I only really want Supes. I can take my time on her. I also am worried about final product paint job but she seems way less complicated than Ivy for paint so they better get her right.

Yeah ivy was a mess in QC for many. SS please take your time and inspect WW before sending her out. We all need the best QC for this one. Please don't disappoint ;)

pretty much...

Huh? I thought we only have one WW thread? Is the multiple threads?

I'm greedy! I want both! I going to start a sexy female statue with axes collection ;)

Red Sonja is pretty good as the other member said. But WW is still queen with the better face and body sculpt in my opinion. Don't get me wrong. Spider woman is still one of my top sculpts I own, from the red Sonja sculptor. One of the best sculptors. But WW will take the top spot over Sonja in my collection.
