yeah yeah, paypal works just fine ... when you dont stall the delivery on purpose by claiming it got "sent back because of no invoice". What you guys dont understand is that IF that would be the case, the buyer would get contacted by the customs, and get a chance to clear things up BEFORE they return it to the sender.

The vendor has taken the time and effort to participate in this thread. He deserves the courtesy of assumed innocence given that thus far, his side of the story holds up better than that of his accusers. Rubbishing the reputation of a vendor who could very well be providing a legitimate and worthwhile service to collectors is unnecessary.

Hello guys,
just received my Hot toys classic Predator.
It arrived in sturdy carboard box, on the top of the figure box a toy hunter plastic bag, the figure box was inside its brown shipper.
No other protection, no bubblewrap paper or anything.
But the figure box is mint (i have yet to open to check the figure itself).
I'll update this post with pictures of my unboxing later.

One thing is weird tho...
My order has been shipped by EMS.
Usually i would be quite happy that the shipping went from regular to express.
Thing is that the customer service told me that my order has been shipped on January 12th by airmail.
They even give me a parcel number CP**********HK.

Country of buyer : France
Date of order : 10th Jan 2012
Item ordered : PREDATOR CLASSIC
Paypal adress & name of the seller : Leon Mario [email protected]
method of shipping used : Air Parcel insured ( Free Shipping )
Date of actual shipping : 12th Jan 2012.
Parcel number : CP**********HK
Extras : Parcel declared 30USD and marked as GIFT.
Seller said it's supposed to arrive between 30th Jan and 1st Feb

The Parcel i received today has been shipped January 24th by EMS from HK.
Sent as gift with a value of 100 HK$.
It has no invoice at all, i'm lucky the parcel was not detained by the customs or sent back.

So i'm quite happy to have my figure and all but why they gave me a bogus shipping date, a bogus parcel number? There might be a reason to this, whatever it is i don't care...

I'm happy to have my figure, but a store that gives me false information is no go in my book.

Glad u got ur parcel olbertfrog, this is good news to hear for those of us still waiting for ours, you should ask dave to clarify on here why this has happened, it seems strange to me as well but there might be a good explanation behind it, dave if ur reading it would be great to hear ur explanation, thx.

Probably gonna say that they got my order mixed with another one... Doesnt cut it for me.
The time line between when the said they shipped and when they gave me the parcel number is long they would have all the time to get the right infos...
Like i said whatever i'm glad i got my figure but if i ever re-order it won't be before long.

Yess!! That is indeed great news olbertfrog!!

I would put down all the oddities to teething problems. This is a new company shipping item world wide and I get the impression that they are more of a facilitator and dictate to a second party.

But it is good that it seem these guys are legit. Maybe oddities can be ironed out!

Thanks for sharing the positive news! Glad to hear that it arrived intact and earlier than expected, though the regular/express shipping mixup certainly is a bit odd..

Two more weeks seem so far away for mine to arrive!! Maybe they will be sent via EMS too

Hey OLbertfrog you know that EMS paper with the shipping info is the invoice.Without that paper it can't pass Customs and let alone ship.I don't understand if the seller is shipping items using EMS they have their own Customs papers so no invoice would be needed especially if the package is marked as a gift.Also,EMS Automatically insures for $100.00 whether you want it or not.You guyz don't think it's rather odd that his package was sent on the 24th.?It seems to me like someone informed him of this thread and it's negativity towards the his store.Before anyone can sound the alarm to authority he sent out a couple of pacifiers to stop all the crying.I wouldn't be surprised if Olbertfrog and a few others get their figures but then that's it no more.You guyz know that PAYPAL holds onto their 45 day rule pretty tight and it doesn't matter if the package was sent out and returned and sent out again.Believe me i know from experience!The reason i stating this is because i don't want any of my fellow freaks to be taken advantage of from some persons greed so you guyz that paid through PAYPAL and it's coming close that time should make a claim.It won't affect his business if he's legit and it would protect you and your funds if he isn't.I hope that i'm wrong about this and this store becomes a success!Dave,if i am wrong then i'm truly SORRY for the misjudgement and GOOD LUCK with your business!^_^

Yes i know that the custom forms included in the EMS documents should be enough for a parcel sent as gift. That is the law, but in facts sometimes customs wants an invoice.
Proof is our friends who got their parcel (probably sent as gift as mine) sent back because of missing invoices.

I agree also with your warning against the 45days policy of paypal.
I think its totally legimate that if a few days before the end of the paypal delay you have yet to receive your items you file a claim for unreceived item just to be safe.
The store have no reason to feel insulted, its just better safe than sorry.

As for my parcel being shipped lately an all, i just can say that i don't totaly disagree but i'll wait and see...

Might it have been one of the packages sent back by customs for not having an invoice or whatever? If so, the later date would be from when it was re-sent after it came back, and the new tracking number would be because it was being sent a second time, no?

Doubt it.
The tracking number i got never worked, and they never informed me of anything about being sent back from customs and reshipped.

I just received today an email saying that it will reach me in a day or two (the HK post tracking being a bit late it do not yet show that i've collected it already).

Even if there has been an honest mistake i don't really like the fact to have been kept in the dark, given wrong date and wrong parcel number. It's not very pro.

Again i'm happy,i got my figure (wich is great bTW), for a great price and sent by EMS.
I' dont like the way they handled it.

I paid for my Predator on the 9th of Jan.
I will give it another week and then i will raise a claim just to be safe.

I also received an e-mail from HTOS saying my package is in US (means passed the custom this time?) and should be delivered in a couple of days. I'll keep you guys posted.

Still curious..
How the heck do they know it's in the US without tracking no??
If they have tracking number, why the heck didn't they tell me about it??

I ordered a T1000 through the free shipping promotion too. HTOS said it should arrive between 27-30th of Jan, so hopefully in the next few days. Seriously though, I do not know why he would not provide a tracking number if the package is insured.

It was indeed sent via EMS this 2nd time, and I do have tracking number now. It seems like it's in the US custom again at the momnet. hopefully it will go pass it and get delivered tomorrow.

Just an update, HTOS emailed me a tracking number and it says my package has arrived at my local post office, so hopefully today or tomorrow I'll get it. I'll get pics of packaging and condition for those who are concerned/interested.

--First free shipping sent on Jan/7th (expected delivery date: Jan/24th-27th)

--Email from HTOS about returned parcel Jan/18th
--Item re-sent from HTOS via EMS on Jan/19th

--Item arrived in US custom on Jan/26th (and still there)
--Expecting delivery today/tomorrow (if custom clears it this time)

If your case is similar, then ask for the EMS tracking number. I had to ask for it.
