Olivia Munn is one of the most vapid, awful, annoying women on Hollywood personality wise. and she was this way even before she got famous. I remember seeing her audition video for the first tv show she did and she was just as arrogant and bitchy as always.

she reminds me of that Shallow Hall movie where the hot nurse was horrible on the inside.

I guess no one can be perfect, just annoys me when famous people act like everyone else is a dirty peasant, everyone has their own defects (even us in here) what I have never been able to tolerate is when actors act like royalty.
She's not even famous enough for that lol

The fact that that is how they chose to make Apocalypse look is reason why I no longer have interest in this movie. He looks ridiculous. I have seen better cosplayers dress up as Apocalypse than whatever the hell this is. Say what you will about Munn, at least she looks like what her character should look like.

X-men movies have a history of being able to push thru questionable design decisions to make a good movie though.

They certainly don't need to apologize for Psylocke's look though.

That being said I don't know why diabetic basement dwelling virgins can constantly design better looking characters than million dollar studio art departments.

Hire them instead!

I hated the new Sentinels initially, but in the end I didn't mind them at all. They at least portrayed them in the right way and being a true threat, since they were essentially unkillable.

Psylocke looks great. I wonder how Munn will do as her. Apoc looks terrible. He looks like your monster of the week from Power Rangers, inspired by Ivan Ooze. Hopefully what we see on film will be better than what these photos have shown. I won't hold my breath though. If that is how he will look throughout the film, that's a pretty big missed opportunity. Fox is just having bad villain designs as of late. It was Fantastic Four, and now this.

Guess I'm lucky, I have no idea who this Munn ***** is so I can be super happy with the fact that with her looks and that costume they have nailed Psylocke's looks.

Yeah, everyone's going nuts over either: 1) cosmetic choices in the film (almost always a weakness in Singer flms); or 2) an actresses "real world" personality (which should have nothing to do with her performance).

Those things are distant, tertiary concerns for me with this film personally. Is Singer telling a good story? Is he telling a good X-Men story? Do the actors do their jobs well, and do the effects and aesthetics work in the context of the movie? And is he properly examining these characters like Cyclops and Jean Grey who have too often been given the shaft in movies thus far? That's what I care about. I couldn't care less what Olivia Munn does in her spare time, or how annoying she was when she was allowed to adlib on G4. Unless Singer extends her the same courtesy here, and allows her to ham it up, which frankly I don't see happening.

I will say--I will be the first to throw my popcorn at the screen and leave in disgust if Munn/Psylocke swallows a hotdog whole. Then I'll come right to this thread and tell everyone, "YOU WERE RIGHT!"
