Why do they always wear armor...

They don't, do they? Isn't it usually leathery body suits in this series? Maybe I'm forgetting stuff from First Class and DOFP. I think I'll do a re-watch on those two while I work today.

Not that I care much about this (I would rather they just go balls out with comic accurate costumes), but they've done a better job having a justification for outfits over time. In the first few films they wore leather outfits that didn't make a lot of utilitarian sense and also didn't look good. With First Class, they were wearing flight suits at the end, which made sense. In DOFP, they wear armor in the future when, I guess they have to fear being attacked at all times? In the '70s they all wear casual attire except Mags who is trying to make a big political statement. So, it more or less makes sense. I'm assuming they'll gear up with armor here for the purpose of fighting Apoc and the Horsemen.

Ugh, I wish she wasn't in this film. Mystique is all about being a mutant and proud of her blue skin, especially in the older Singer films (her convo with Nightcrawler) so for her to be in "hiding" as a human throughout the majority of the film is so out of place for the character.

When I saw the BvS trailer (the most recent one) my hype went down. Then I started reading some new info and I'm hyped again. With Apocalypse it's the exact reverse. The trailer hyped me and everything else makes it seem like more of the same.Weird...

Eh, it's still comic book history. It could Batman: Forever levels of horsecrap and I'd still enjoy it. I read some spoilers (probably bull but eh) and I'm kinda pumped for the future of the DCEU.

Truth be told, I want to see whether Eisenberg becomes classic Lex or not. It's easy to guess how the rest of the movie will play out, but Lex remains the make-or-break factor for me. Eisenberg's a good actor, so I'm still holding out hope that he will go from dork to cold-blooded arsehole...
