"I'll be older in this one," James McAvoy said of X-Men: Apocalypse, in which he will return as Charles Xavier. "[And] I think I'm losing my hair finally. And, yeah, that's kind of all I know." He continued, "I got an email from the [producer/writer Simon Kinberg] who informed me he was getting dead excited about stuff, but he didn't want to divulge anything for a couple of weeks, so I really don't know. It does seem fairly global, if we're talking apocalypse. Maybe it's just the character's name, but I think the nature of the film is going to be fairly apocalyptic."

What I really hope is to not see a 9th X-Men movie where Xavier is trying to deal with both oppressive humans and Magneto going too far against them in response. Enough already. Imagine if in Cap 8 Steve was still trying to convince Bucky that they used to be friends. Get over it already. Just let Magneto be a full fledged bad guy that Xavier isn't the least bit emo about.

I said that about DOFP?

I must have been spewing some serious hyperbole then, I thought it would crack 800 mil at least, but I didn't realize all the competition it would have. Fox needs to pick a better date, and finally release an X-Men movie in IMAX.

Apocalypse is doing 900 mil atleast, remember where you heard it first Nam!

The only reason DoFP did so well is it had BOTH casts in it, and while it was great to see both casts, the story was only good, not great. Apocalypse won't have the luxury of nostalgia. It'll be the First Class cast and Wolverine. Remember, First Class was only saved from being on the bottom by Origins. Somehow I think it hitting the $600mil mark will be luck. And let's be honest. What competition did it really have? If it was as good as you claimed it was, it was far enough away from ASM2 and Cap to pull in decent numbers. :lol

Off the top of my head I think ASM2 came out 3 weeks before it hit theaters, then Godzilla a week before, then Maleficent the week after, then Edge Of Tomorrow a week or two after that. That's competition Nam.
