I enjoy x3 too. Really goes all out with continuing stories and finishing a trilogy. And some really cool action, I don't understand the hate. I can see the issues though

I always liked the impact with Wolverine confronting Jean at the climax, the music certainly helped.

Also Charles getting blown to bits. :lol

Then DOFP came along and X3 no more. :lol

How I rank the Fox Men

1.DOFP

2.First Class

3.Deadpool

4.X1

5.X2

6.X3

7.The Wolverine

8.Wolverine Origins

Hmmm...

remove DP and swap X1/X2 spots and you're good. :lol

It still happened in that original timeline though. The Wolverine acknowledges it, as does DOFP. DOFP just undoes what happened and creates a new timeline.

Yeah it all still happened though, the characters lived through it in that universe. I also think this carries over in Dofp people complained that it had no levity (the future scenes ) but they still lived through it and felt the pain.

Im also surprised people are starting to call x2 overrated now. Some of those scenes are better than almost anything today. It's so damn creative and different.

Ughhh my head hurts now. :lol

I think DP is as bad or even worse than X3, in the script department.

But it's ok because it's DP and DP is allowed to be in bad movies.

I didn't buy DP movie today.

Me....as in the guy who owns B&R bluray. :lol

The jokes in DP were almost as bad as GOTG.

Colossus was great though as was Nega's look and heroic save at the end.

But that's not enough to warrant ownership for me.

X2 is The Dark Knight of the FoX-Men films, or Marvel films for that matter. It's scary how underrated that movie is, and I see the argument going on in other threads about action, X2 action is better than TWS, CW, MOS, and BvS combined.

My ranking for the X films would be X2 >DOFP>First Class>>>X1>Deadpool>>>>The Wolverine>>>X3>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>X-Men Origins

heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell no :lol

In fact, I think the only action sequence in the Fox-Men franchise that isn't hindered by that terrible terrible outdated wire-work is Wolverine's introduction in the cage.

QuickSilver is also fantastic, it's what a speedster show move like.

I think Deadpool has better action than Singer's movies, despite being utterly inferior.

In fact, it's a testament to the Singerverse stories that I don't mind sitting through bad action and even worse designs because that's how good the plots are.

I would rather watch Batman V. . .no, I won't go that far. Address sent *sigh*

Oh snap. :lol

Man what I wouldn't do for an X3 Trask movie poster.

X2 has a nice opening sequence with Nightcrawler, but I didn't think any of the other action sequences were great.

:lol :lol :lol

It is though! X2 has some extremely awesome conceptual yet subtle action scene. To me, there isn't a scene in any of the MCU or DCEU that's as unique as Magneto's prison escape in X2, the action in that scene goes beyond that one scene to make it work, then the iconic Nightcrawler scene, and the attack on the X mansion. Those 3 scenes top anything I've scene from the latest Marvel/DC flicks. The acting, cinematography and originality were all a notch about most superhero films out there today.

Spiderman vs Doc Ock is the king of just straight up CGI superhero action though. Nothing in CW, TWS, AOU, BvS, MOS come close to that scene.
