oh god come on civil war is not on the level of cloverfield and the witch :rotfl:rotfl thats an insult to two of the most original movies i've seen in a while

Back from 2nd viewing

Slightly more coherent but the script is utter **** and so is Oscar Issac in this film

I am over watching another XMEN movie in my lifetime, it's seemed like they were beating a dead horse than expanding on the universe.

Simon Kinsberg did a terrible job with Last Stand Apocalypse and Fantastic Four... I have been warned to stay away..

Agreed on both counts.

So far in 2016:

1. Captain America: Civil War
2. The VVitch
3. 10 Cloverfield Lane
4. The Jungle Book
5. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
6. X-Men: Apocalypse

7. Deadpool

Seriously, the action from DP alone is much better than BVS.

Deadpool farting at his roommate is better action than BvS. At least it wasn't CGI.

DP was a better written character than any of the characters in BVS. He was more sympathetic than Hopeman and Batffleck too :dunno Not only that, DP and his girl had real chemistry unlike Lois and Clark...hell, the supporting characters, the villains were all better too, even the taxi driver was a more compelling character than anything in BVS :lol

But TWS/CW have absolutely earned their place on the originality list.

Seriously, what other superhero movie has juggled as many characters as CW did while perfectly providing each individual character not only their own story arc but also their own individual thrilling action scene AND then having to give the same level of care and attention for when they were teaming up!

It broke new ground as far as i'm concerned, as did TWS.

No other superhero movie has ever presented their action in this manner starting with STM, none of them have had this level of action, period.

That's original in my book.

But I didn't buy into his problem.

Saved from imminent terminal cancer death, check.

Given super human agility and healing powers, check.

Trade off was slightly worse face, not a bad trade off at all, he's alive and has super powers!

Now wants to kill the guy and organization who did him this favor, wut!

Therefore he's way more of an ******* than Hopeman, Batman, Magneto and Tinycalypse!

Dumb jokes too.

I think X2 did a much better job handling the main characters of that movie than CW.

I see people jumping on Faraci but, erm, did anyone happen to notice that, with exception of maybe his last 2 paragraphs about the X-franchise as a whole, his review about this film was absolutely ****ing dead-on accurate?

Seriously, agreed with everything he said about this film.

I don't agree with him labeling the entire franchise terrible AND while I agree with most of his points, and I had my own issues as well oddly enough I still found it to be entertaining.

I'm such a ****ing nerd.

Faraci's not always wrong but he is always a bag of stinking, rotten, hairy twats.

And Censorbot don't even care.

DP is not a nice guy, and it wasn't just his face, it was his whole body, after he was lied to and tortured and "killed" by the villain...who by the way, kidnapped DP's girl. All that >>> Angry Batman and sad emo Hopeman who can't find his mommy so he has to fight Batman because Luthor wants to kill them all for some reason, so he's also creating a monster he can't stop...wut? At least DP acknowledges how stupid and silly it is, unlike BVS.

Batman ran over people and Hoperman daydreamed about Dadnado while Less Luthor gave a corpse a facial to make a cavetroll.

And that was the serious movie. :lol

Well, they did only have 3 to concentrate on. :lol

Hmmm, really just 1. Snikt Snikt.

How?

Wolverine, Professor X, Nightcrawler, Jean Grey, Stryker, Rogue, Bobby Drake, Magneto, Storm pretty much everyone had an important role. Cyclops and Colossus are really the only characters that get sidelined.

I actually enjoyed this much more than I expected to. Certainly not the best film in the franchise, but I'm not buying it as a complete steaming dog turd, either.
