I don't have a problem if they replace Jackman. The only reason he "IS" Wolverine, is because he's the only live action Wolverine we've ever seen, so we're used to him, but it doesn't mean someone else couldn't do a better job. Look at Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, people wanted Ed Norton back for Avengers, but now they say, Ed who? I think Russell Crowe could have been even better than Jackman. Jackman is serviceable, imo. To me, he's more Hugh Jackman than Wolverine, because there's something missing, imo...but he's still good and I would like to see him wear the comic costume...he deserves it more than any other actor.

I agree with everything you said except for Crowe possibly being a better Wolverine than Jackman.

I might be in the minority but I don't think Russel Crowe is that great of an actor, I also doubt he would have had the discipline to keep his body in such great shape all these years.

Tom Hardy would be the perfect replacement in my opinion, he's short, has that compact build, and plays a badass pretty well in my opinion.

He also grows a great beard

Once Hugh Jackman is done, no more Wolverine in the movies.

Se for Rober Downey Jr. When he's done, Stark is done.

I think that when Jackman retires they should just create a CG version of him as Wolverine now that we're finally to the point where digital characters are completely indistinguishable from live actors.

Jackman will be tuff to replace.

There could be a better Wolverine in future and perhaps the Jackman love is because he's familiar but getting the level of love in a role like that is earned. He is that damn good and that's where he differs from the Hulk situation as neither were as loved in the role before Ruffalo came along

Just rewatched the original trilogy over the weekend and past few days and I got a lot of laughs out of how tiny Jackman is in the first movies and how goofy his hair looks in X3. He seriously no joke has Nic Cage hair in the Brett Ratner one. I was dying.

His hair in the beginning and end of X2 was awful as well :lol He was wearing a hairpiece/wig in those scenes :monkey4

The Wolverine is just leagues above his previous attempts. Aside from being insanely cut, the hair is perfect. It's not crazy overgrown and trying to be styled into a totally nonsensical look. It simply tapers off so his hairs longer up top where it was scissor cut vs buzzed on the sides. It's natural and how people actually cut their hair. :lol

This : never again please!

That's an interesting choice. I never thought about him, but I guess we'll see what he does in Mad Max, another character made famous by a different actor.

Ugghhh :lol it's so embarrassing to look at. It did look REALLY REALLY bad in the ending of it. It's so goddamn high.

I swear he's got a hairpiece in that, for whatever reason.

I think my favorite hair style was X1 and DOFP (below pic)

X3 and Origin are my least favorites.

It's the most Wolverine looking, while not being over the top. I liked it the best myself. Origins wasn't anything but a mop.

:lol :lol

The wolverine hairstyle reminds me of

Still, all those pale in comparison to Stallone's 80's hair :lol

I didn't mine TW hair, it was very subtle. But as previously stated, loads better than the majority of X2 :lol

Apocalypse Costume Will Be Mix Of Practical And Digital Effects
“After we finish here I’m heading to do a head cast [for ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’], which they do often. You spend 3-4 hours with them putting plaster all over your head and they get a sense of what your face is like and what shape your head is, so they can start figuring out the costume and the make up and all that stuff, which is pretty fun.”

“It’ll be a mix [of practical and digital]. I haven’t had a script so I haven’t had a chance to look through the script and see what the exact requirements are, but I think it’ll be a mixture of physical, aided with some robotic technology.”
