I am glad Sophie got cast as Jean... she was my top choice. I think she'll be great, i'm half expecting the newbies will be side characters and not that important. Hopefully that's not the case.

We're close to finally getting a "real" X Men film, with the "classic" team working together. First Class did that, but that team sucked, imo. Great film, but the X Men team was not my favorite.

X1-X3 had more or less "classic" teams. Problem was that the first two were mostly Wolverine films and the third was a piece of ****. We'll see if Apocalypse is more X-Men 3 or Wolverine 7 or whatever, but the jury's still out on that.

Now they just need to get the costumes right.

Agreed. This is the one major deficiency in every X-film Singer directed IMO. Best the films did was First Class's flight suits. I couldn't care less about Singer's personality though. He makes good X-Men movies, so I'm glad he's at the helm.

As long as he isn't an actual felon and keeps crap like "have you ever tried not being a mutant" out of future films I'll definitely be interested in any future X-Men movies with him at the helm.

I don't even care what he does in his personal life. I'm still an unabashed fan of Chinatown, despite the fact that its primary creative force was a degenerate scumbag who I wouldn't piss on if he were dying of thirst.

Just be a good, entertaining film, dammit.

What I mean is, in X1 there were only 4 X Men going up against the villains, then in X2, same thing, except they team up with the villains, and in X3, they had more of a team, but like you said, the film sucked and some of the core members were dead or turned into a villain I want to see an X men team, like say, in GOTG where they work together and we see them arguing with each other in a mission. X Apocalypse might be the first time we get Cyclops, Jean, Storm, Beast, Wolverine, Professor X, Gambit (maybe) working as a team, but then again Apocalypse is going to need the 4 horsemen, so maybe it won't happen.

I just hope that the X men don't end up working with Magneto...again, then at the end the X Men end up betrayed by him, for the fourth time

I'm looking forward to seeing how the villains of Apocalypse evolve from foes seeking world domination into sculptors of awesome He-Man toys.

I imagine they'll not be main just yet. This is the last of the First Class story arc so Xavier/Magneto/Mystjque will be main with these as supporting then these taking over as main with the next movie
