Who did you have in mind? Honestly for me, Jackman is Wolverine.
Jackman owns the role of Wolverine. Whoever (eventually) replaces him will have some big shoes to fill IMO.

Manu Bennett would make an awesome Wolverine IMO. I love Jackman as him though.

That's an interesting cast choice. Never considered him. Definitely I can see it. Voice though would be something to work on.

He must be trying to fit some favors to get something down the line. I mean his Moby **** film doesn't seem any better.

Jackman is cemented into that role, just like Reeve was with Superman.

I don't have a problem if they replace Jackman. The only reason he "IS" Wolverine, is because he's the only live action Wolverine we've ever seen, so we're used to him, but it doesn't mean someone else couldn't do a better job. Look at Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, people wanted Ed Norton back for Avengers, but now they say, Ed who? I think Russell Crowe could have been even better than Jackman. Jackman is serviceable, imo. To me, he's more Hugh Jackman than Wolverine, because there's something missing, imo...but he's still good and I would like to see him wear the comic costume...he deserves it more than any other actor.
He's done a great job for almost 20 years. I didn't think him without a mask would work, but it did. I still think the most Wolverine role he did, was in X1. He will be replaced, but they can't just stick some hack cliche actor in there like they've done with taters.

An unknown actor would be best. There's no baggage and that way you can see the character. Jackman was unknown before Wolverine. Yeah, X1 and X2 were his most Wolverine role. His intro in X1 was perfect and then the bar scene too...I was like, "yep that's wolverine." However, I think X3 and X Origin were his worst Wolverine roles.

It couldn't of been done any better. Truly showed the ferociousness of the character.

Yeah, even the costume was great. Love that outfit! I wish HT would make that version. Something about the way he looked in that film was better, imo. I don't mean his physique, but the costume and hair, it look better and more natural than in the sequels, I think. It's like he looks more trendy and cleaned up in the other ones, where as in X1, he looks like a "normal" blue-collar dude.
The X1 suits definitely were darker than the subsequent suits, and they didn't have the cluster **** belt buckles and straps they got now.
Hugh needs to be in the classic outfit at some point before he leaves the role.

There could be a better Wolverine in future and perhaps the Jackman love is because he's familiar but getting the level of love in a role like that is earned. He is that damn good and that's where he differs from the Hulk situation as neither were as loved in the role before Ruffalo came along
