Actually saving him for Gambit's flick then making him the primary villain in the film after which should be in a contemporary setting would be a pretty good idea actually.

Just saw on Instagram that Sophie Turner has been cast as Jean, Tye Sheridan as Scott and Alexandra Shipp as Ororo

Haven't seen any in action except Turner

Only one I'm kinda blah about is the guy. Mostly because he doesn't look like a young Marsden. It's the nose. Apparently he's a fine actor though

I don't know who any of them are but as young versions of Storm, Jean and Cyclops they're not a bad looking line-up.

I have no idea who two of them are but they look good as young versions of Storm, Jean and Cyke.

Sheridan was great in Mud and on Justified, and Turner's a talented actress on GoT. I'm not sure who the girl playing Storm is, but the one thing about them is that they all seem like they could be young versions of the OT X-Men. Thus far, I've read nothing but great things about this film, and I can't wait.

Cast looks good. At least they're not 12-13 which I was dreading. I hope they also cast someone around the same age to play Angel/Archangel. That would then just leave Bobby out from the original 5 being represented unless they just retcon it in which would be fine with me.

We're close to finally getting a "real" X Men film, with the "classic" team working together. First Class did that, but that team sucked, imo. Great film, but the X Men team was not my favorite.

Now they just need to get the costumes right. It is encouraging to hear that they seem to be planning something technorganic with Apocalypse. I'm not big on Bryan Singer, he grates me the wrong way, self promotes more than anyone this side of McG and is overrated IMO, but am 100% rooting for him to land this movie in a big way.

Tye Sheridan is the most talented of the bunch, he's done mostly indie films like Mud, Joe, and The Tree of Life, but I'm not really happy he got picked. He just doesn't give me that leader vibe, but maybe he's a good enough actor to convince me he is.

Don't know how good Turner is but she never impressed me on GOT, I would have preferred some of the other choices to honest.

The other girl playing Storm I have no clue about, hopefully she's good.

Sophie Turner has improved quite a bit on Game of Thrones IMO. The only one I'm not interested in is the new Cyclops. I wish we could see more of Marsden. I thought he was perfect but never got the attention he deserved in the films.

Marsden could have been great, I know he was supposed to have a huge role in X3 when Singer was still attached, once he left he took Marsden with him to make Superman Returns unfortunately.

I haven't kept up with GOT, I have to catch the last two seasons so I probably missed her at her best.

I'm mostly worried about the Storm casting, I just watched some interviews and her resume is pretty poor, I also doubt she'll have an African accent which would absolutely suck.
