The third must be the 2018 mystery film.

3 more films? That leaves Apoc, Wolvie 3 and one other film. That's pretty good, I still think he will return after that since they will pay him an oil tanker sized amount of cash.

Money doesn't always work. If it did RDJ would be Tony Stark until he couldn't walk anymore.

These guys have enough money to last 20 life times, at the end of the day, being asked to play these super heros isn't an easy task. Jackman set the standard for how fit a man should be to play a super hero these days and that guys been pushing his body to it's breaking point for how long now staying in shape for the film. These guys do pretty insane things to there bodies to stay in shape and I'm sure Jackman is getting tired of it, I'm sure alot of them are and it's probably the biggest hurdle to doing these movies, not to mention there's probably other work they want to do and can't because of these films. I'm actually surprised Jackman signed on for 3 more films.

Well he loves the character and the cast.

I love how the cast of the X-Franchise all look like genuine friends who love working with each other, they've all got smiles on their faces and just love doing it, it's an infectious feeling.

And like you said it keeps him fit, what better way to keep motivated for lifting and eating right than continuing to please fans and play a character you love while working with friends.

There will inevitably come a point but i think that won't come until he can no longer work his body into the shape for Wolverine.

I think Jackman can pull off Wolvie well into his 50s, but any longer than that he just won't look the proper age anymore. As of right now, I think he's spot on with the age shown in the comics. He was always supposed to be a guy that appears to be in his 40s but in his physical prime.

Can we get a reboot after this wolverine nonsense tired of fox revolving the franchise around him.

Lol and that's why we got this mess.

Because of me.....:yess:

I am game for other Xmen films / leads but truth be told beyond Fass no other actor / character could carry their own. Sweet Mother Jesus they just cast Magic Mike as Gambit.....doesn't get any better :hi5:

I don't mind Tatum as gambit curious to see what he does.i love jackman but this series needs a reboot.

I think Chatum as Gambit will be fine, so long as they don't force him front and center into all the X-movies a la Wolverine. I've never cared for Gambit as the lame Louisiana stereotype that he is, so they can do whatever they want with him as far as I'm concerned.

This has to be the only franchise where a film can get rave reviews and people still call for a reboot before the film is even released. This movie was purposely made to fix most of the continuity problems, and lets them start fresh, why scrap all of that?

I have faith in Channing to at least be better than Kitsch, but I agree with Kinetic, a solo movie can be overkill.

I'm just worried they will try to make a Gambit solo film and it will bomb at the box office and kill the character.

Thus my point about lack of actors to carry an Xmen film beyond Jackman or Fass. The proper actor can make a character popular look what RDJ did for Tinman. Most people probably don't want to watch an entire film centered around Tatum....I suppose he could surprise most of us and be brilliant.

:exactly: :goodpost: :exactly: :goodpost:

There also no reason to do a reboot when 4/6 of the movies are solid, the seventh cleans up the continuity (essentially reboots it without rebooting) and the quality of actors involved is among the best in Hollywood

I'm just tired of the samething . It's been 14 years of this and it's a mess.

Damn right Krec, it's just a little long in the tooth.

I am going to reserve judgment until I see how this patches things up though, but even if I love the flick, it doesn't invalidate others opinions on wanting a reboot in any way.
