I'd like to see a mix of Liefield's X-Force and Uncanny X-Force. Cable the leader, with Deadpool, Warpath, Puck, Sunspot, Psylocke and Domino filling out the team. Later on i'd like to see X-23 be introduced.

Universal are rumoured to be making a Namor movie :yess:

I'm surprised Fox doesn't own him since he's mostly a supporting character in the Fantastic Four or a member of the X-Men.

Namor is probably my favorite character in the marvel Universe, I'm extremely excited for him to get his own movie. He really should be at Fox though

You guys are both up on me in regards to X-Force. All I read was the Rick Remender run, but my first comic ever was from the original X-Force, in one of those 3 comic book packs at the drugstore. The essentials and the omnibuses are how I worked my way up through Marvel continuity. They're black and white, but $17 for over 25 issues was a great deal! I really wanted to read the Chris Yost stuff.

I'm looking forward to the Namor movie! I don't know much about him, other than some classic Fantastic Four, Captain America, New Avengers, and the recent X-Men stuff. Are there any stories in particular where you think Namor really shines?

If you want to read him from the start you can buy the Marvel Masterworks Submariner Vol 1 for cheap now. His best solo stories were short lived but I liked what John Bryne did with him in Visionaries. I find Namor to work best in other books though, you probably already read the best of him if you’ve read X-Men Second Coming, Marvel Secret Project, and I thought he was awesome in Civil War, especially Wolverines solo Civil War book.

I love John Bryne, as I think a lot of X-Men and Superman fans do, so I definitely want to read that. I just looked up the Masterworks and I didn't know they did paperbacks, which is great, since it's much cheaper. I never read Wolverine's Civil War book, but I loved the Civil War story, so that's another one to check out. Oh and Messiah Complex/Second Coming is my favorite X-Men story since Claremont's run. Thanks!

That was amazing, perfect video to watch before the movie tonight

Did you guys see the end credit scene...? Apocalypse and the 4 hoursemen!!!

edit: sorta wrong thread but still, just saw it on reddit. Pretty cool looking though the pyramid assembly seemed kinda cheesy

Great scene loved it.

Yep same here. This is one of my most anticipated now.

So I know the newer cast - Lawrence, Fassbender, etc. are going to be starring in this... but has anything been said about the "present/future" cast being in this film too?

I hope it's just the younger versions in this film, as well as younger versions of Storm, Jean, Cyclops, and some new characters.

I heard just the younger cast, and Wolverine. Also Quicksilver has been confirmed to return in the Apocalypse!

So if they do cast young versions of Cyclops, Jean, Storm, etc.. how old are we expecting them to be in the 80s? Nichoulas Hoult and Jennifer Lawrence age? Or younger? Cause I imagine they are all in their forties in the future, so wouldn't that make them in their 10s? :lol
