Remember 2005 when WB had Batman Begins, Sony had just released Spider-Man 2, and Fox was riding the wave of X-2? And Marvel had nothing but the craptacular Fantastic Four? It's like the rise of the MCU just caused all three of those once proud studios to go categorically insane.

Wow, what a terrible trailer. Well, at least FOX will end its Xcrap on the same low as all the other films....

Attempt #2 for Phoenix, and this looks just as bad as the original. Fox Sucks. So glad this ****verse is done and over with. They take major plots and story lines from the comics and turn them into the worst screen translations. Just like DOFP had hardly anything to do with the original, so too will this. And trying to do these stories without a Wolverine in the group is a no no...

And why can't Fox ever cast a proper Jean Grey. Famke was too old back then, but at least she could act somewhat. I love GOT, but Sophie looks terrible as Jean Grey and for me she is one of the low points for GOT as well. Girl can't act.

Another train wreck I'll watch from afar. I haven't seen a Fox X-Men in the theater since First Class.

Here's to Feige finally making a proper Mutant Universe sometime in the future...

Everyone wants to see Feige's version of X-Men enter the MCU like crazy that the interest in this just isn't as high. Plus they absolutely cannot **** up the Jean Grey storyline a second time.

There are still those that insist Feige will merge the fox men into the MCU, no recasting needed. Oh man jye, imagine Lawrence on screen chomping up scenery with RDJ and Brolin.

I'm hearing New Mutants could be released on streaming instead of the big screen.

In the trailer it’s almost as if Simon Kinberg is addressing the repeating character arcs from this franchise by having Magneto say “You’re always sorry Charles, there’s always a speech and nobody cares!”

Cyclops, Jean, Storm, Nightcrawler, Beast, Prof. X, and Magneto being anxious and dark, running around fighting each other, going into space to confront Lilandra's Imperial Guard? I'm gonna be there on day one mother****ers. I don't even care that J-Law wore her welcome out 2 or 3 films back. It's the ******* X-Men! Don't you people understand this?????

I'm with you, I liked what I saw in the trailer (aside from Lawrence) and if the reviews are good, I'll go and see it. It'd actually be pretty cool if they did bring in the Shi-ar.

What are you mad? The costumes not only look like the Frank Quitely New X-Men costumes, but they look far better than he ever drew them!
Though they still can't beat the costumes from First Class.
