Why couldn't they just give him like a red and black battle suit reminiscent to the comic ninja outfit? Ugh serenity now!

Yup, if there's a Deadpool movie, it should start with a pre-credits sequence just after the alternate ending from Origins, Weapon XI opening his eyes and a blade skewering the head and flinging it into one of the fires with a smartass comment about the suckass nature of that villain.

So we are getting two completely different Quicksilvers in this and Avengers? I didn't even know they could do that.

There's runours that QS and SW in Avengers are some other brother and sister characters now.

Reports going around that Cyclops is in this ? Thought the movie was done.

This is a golden opportunity though, they could end with McAvoys Xavier recruiting teenage Cyclops, Jean and Storm in the 80s or have Wolverine return to the future with them having not died in X3 die to the time changes.

Hopefully whatever they change in the 70's negates the previous trilogy so we can get all the characters back and on track.

The smart way would be to return Wolverines future mind to the future, he'll be in a new timeline where things didn't happen like they did in the OT, but HE'LL remember them so they can remain canon.

Think of it like Marty McFly he left his 1985, the one with his poor and miserable parents, changed the past and returned to a new timeline where his Parent are more well off and happy. Marty's memories are those of his poor parents, events in his and his families lives occured differently to what he remembers.

I told myself no point in questioning the series now its ****ed up already and now they are doing time travel.

There are some inconsistencies, but nothing that has messed with the timeline... First Class > Origins > X1 > X2 > X3 > The Wolverine > DOFP (which will most likely spawn a new tineline that'll change the deaths)

What I don't understand is how Wolverine can remember Nagasaki AFTER being shot in the head.

In X1 and X2 Xavier helps him to unlock memories of his past. Thats how he knew where the Weapon X facility was in X2 and by simple assumption Xavier unlocked the memories of Nagasaki

I can buy the memory thing. It's just it would seem to fit better with me if that was told to the audience. Even at the end of X2 he's asking Stryker "who am I?" so that still leads me to believe he's still in the dark, for the most part.

I wouldn't put money on it. I bet we see more faithful representations of the siblings in Avengers 2, vs. the lame, halfassed, Warhol-ish attempts we're getting with Singer's.

I think the days are sailing on their being faithful representations of characters from any studio. Nova Prime is now an old alien woman, Hank Pym is apparently not Ant-Man but instead a vastly older Hank Pym as a villain of some sort. Trask is a little person, Electro is a different race, Heimdall and Sif aren't brother and sister, Ultron is rumoured to be made by Tony Stark. Silver Samurai wasn't Harada, Mandarin was a cockney rentboy, Jarvis is a computer, Aunt May was de-aged ect...

It's a fair bet Apocalypse at the very best will be different from the books in some way.

An orange midget with a Napolean complex who worships a talking parrot seems about right at this rate.

Every once in a while I'll be flipping through channels and see Super Hero Squad on Hub or Nick Jr or w/e and I'm always amazed how way, waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more comic accurate and faithful that show is than any Marvel movie I've ever seen.

When it comes to superhero films, I never look for a fateful adaptation. I prefer a filmmaker do his best to make the best movie he can before anything, but still keep the spirit of the of the characters and stories.
