Just watch out for those teeth! They could cause some damage! :D

Risk worth taking. :lol

He's making a lot of friends in this thread isn't he? :lol

Not about making friends, I’m just okay with voicing my honest opinion.Do I need to agree with everything you say to be your friend?

McKellan seems to be the more proven actor but far from amazing in my opinion. Stewart on the other hand is extremely overrated when it comes to film acting.

Like I said before, I don’t think they are bad actors, but I see the usual Michael Keaton, Chris Reeve(I think he still is the best Superman), Toby Maguire, nostalgia equals better. Just because they were first doesn’t or apart of your upbringing, doesn’t mean they are automatically the best.

Patrick Stewart has nothing but TV movies, and voice acting for his TV/movie career. He can’t even do an American accent which is why Professor X is now a british man from America. It makes no sense. Both actors have never blown me away as Professor X or Magneto.
I don’t think it is a crazy thing to prefer Mcavoy, and Fassbenders rendition of the two characters.

So... why are you bothering to even see this if you think the two main actors in it aren't even good?

Oh Plissken, I see you are off your meds.

When did I say they were bad actors? And who told you they are the two main characters of this film? :slap

I don't think the Sentinel is too too bad, all things considered. He does look menacing. Sure, a comic styled Sentinel would be better, but we knew they weren't going for that based on their wacky suits.

It kind of reminds me of Gort from The Day the Earth Stood Still reboot.

Young Charles was stated by Singer as the central character of this film. Never said anything about the old Stewart.

It's not just that. You keep saying "First Class was the most successful of the franchise," but Wolverine blew past FC by almost $70mil. First Class underperformed even Origins by $20mil worldwide, DESPITE Origins being hurt by an internet leak of the film. :lol

World box office breakdown in order of most $$$ earned:

X-Men: The Last Stand: $459,359,555
The Wolverine: $414,828,246
X2: X-Men United: $407,711,549
X-Men Origins: Wolverine: $373,062,864
X-Men: First Class: $353,624,124
X-Men: $296,339,527

As you can see, First Class didn't even out perform the last two proper X-Men sequels, and, in fact, is second to last, placing 5th out of 6. :lol

First Class was still the most well received film in the franchise from what I can remember.

It was a refreshing entry coming after Origins, definitely, kinda like a palate cleanser after eating a ****-ton of garlic, but most well received, no. Otherwise the box office would reflect that. :lol
