More the reason to be cocky, Magneto can't fling him around like a rag doll.

Wolverine would survive the plane crash had Magneto went full ****.

There's no doubt he would've survived, like I said, I guess I was actually asking for too much consistency of him being scared to fly like in Origins.

Both compliment each other so its all good.

But Charles getting shot in the back in FC was emotional, but also seeing the cast together at the end of DOFP gave me a lump in my throat.

I didn't love Beast in this one. The way he looked and flew around was terribly reminiscent of Jack Nicholson and James Spader at the end of Wolf. In a summer that is showing Captain America and Spider-Man leap off the pages like never before it was a bit jarring to see Beast play out like that.

ASM2 Electro and DOFP Beast would have felt right at home in 1995. :lol

Kind of reflecting back on the movie, my brother and I discussed that Wolverine didn't have much action scenes. Kind of missed seeing him rage out on people but there was enough else going on to leave us satisfied.

Easy paycheck for Jackman, just show up, be Wolverine, walk around, and go home!

I felt bad for Wolverine. He finally couldn't be directly manipulated by Magneto but he still got pwned because there was ample metal all over the place for Magneto to use against him.

It seemed like Wolverine should have taken a second to try and remember where he was and what woman he was with when he first woke up in 1973. It's not like he was Kyle Reese just appearing in a strange new world, that was a moment that he had actually personally experienced.

I guess they felt The Wolverine gave us enough Wolverine action. :lol

I love Wolverine, yet I was ok with his lack of action. Great sequence when he woke up in 70's on a water bed, I was satisfied. The story and acting was so well done his lack of action really wasn't missed. If he did scrap, I am thinking it woulda be forced ruining the flow of the film

Wouldn't that have been among the years that he couldn't remember, before he was in the weapon X program?

Love that scene he doesn't stand a chances against magneto .

With X-Men: Days of Future Past currently proving its massive box office draw, 20th Century Fox is already getting things ready to prepare for the next film, X-Men: Apocalypse, set to hit the big screen May 27, 2016. In a conversation with The Daily Beast, producer and screenwriter Simon Kinberg dropped an interesting detail about the planned eighth entry in Fox's big screen X-Universe, claiming that it, too, would feature "original" cast members.

"It will focus primarily on the 'First Class' cast," he says, "but it will certainly have some of the original cast involved, too."

Which cast members might those be? One of them is almost certainly Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, who has all-but confirmed his involvement in the project. Another might be Patrick Stewart who, in a recent report, teased a post-Days of Future Past reprisal of his Professor Charles Xavier. (He has, after all, appeared in every big screen X-Men film except for First Class). If Stewart does appear, however, does that necessarily mean that time travel will again be involved in the storyline? Could we see the alternate future of the popular comic book storyline Age of Apocalypse? Only time will tell, so keep checking back for details as they become available!
