...and speaking of beast looks like DoFP has pulled 350 mil in under a week. :yess:

I don't know, I feel that the short sleeves would be a disservice to his character. I think Jackman's Logan would take the "all or nothing" approach to a uniform. Of course, you could make a running gag out of it, where he's so reckless due to his healing factor that it's always left in tatters, so, he just tears his sleeves off. I wholy agree about the cowl. I think less is more in that case. They could probably do with a more form fitting costume in Jackman's case, though.

That would be funny if they presented him with this costume with sleeves and he just stares at it, then the camera shifts as you hear snikt! snikt! and he comes walking by everyone without the sleeves :lol

I hadn't seen the finalized product, but in case you missed it, in the custom section, Rahmier, did a Jackman with that helmet on, the wip pics were beast. :rock

Link plz.

Hell yes! This was one that totally blew me out of the water (if you don't come up with a Bryan Singer quip for that one, there is no hope for you) in terms of quality, expectation, just everything. I was excited for it, but never did I think it would be this good.

Yeah, the first one was weird. I'm just looking forward to seeing where the universe goes from here, and, hopefully, we can see some more optimistic costuming out of this brighter timeline. One of the reasons I was okay with the costumes of DoFP was because I felt they were well suited to the bleak future that we were seeing.

Besides, there were a couple more daring costumes like Quick Silver's which was awesome after all, and Bishop's.

Will check it out :hi5:

I don't care about plot holes or costumes being perfect. This movie was pretty entertaining IMO. Really enjoyed it.

LOL, I completely forgot about Bill Duke being Trask previously. Hilarious. Obviously, you've got to ignore some things from the previous movies unless you want to go crazy like a-dev.

Singer casts according to his fancy. He just happened to have a thing for dwarves when he was casting for DOFP.
LOL

My problem with this is what's to stop Singer deciding in X-men Apocalypse to completely contradict something in DOFP? If you're just gonna throw out any concern for internal consistency how seriously do you expect people to take the films? Why bother having any over-arching stories? Just make each film completely standalone, pretend the characters have never met before in each film, turn Kitty Pryde into Kevin Pride played by the guy who was Mr Ecko in Lost, kill people in one film and have them back in the next one with no need for explanation (lol). I mean the sky is the limit.
My friend, I'm afraid that your obsession with the connection between the Terminator movies has destroyed your sense of perspective. Drink a beer and don't worry about it.

I needz da suitz.
Agreed 100%

It wouldn't bother me if they were all crap movies, in that scenario I wouldn't care either. But they're good films which needlessly have problems because they just couldn't be bothered to think about other ways to do things, other characters to use etc etc. I mean people have pointed out that Rogue's powers make more sense for the Sentinels' adaptive capabilities - which is true. And given the 'whatever' attitude to internal consistency in these movies its a wonder they didn't just decide that Rogue was born in the late 50s all of a sudden so she could be in this film. Because ''sure **** it, they won't care'' :huh

Anyway, I'll leave it at that.

He means use Rogues DNA as a basis for the story since the Sentinels basically did exactly what Rogue is capable of, but Rogue isn't starring in Hunger Games atm.

Thats great, with Maleficent and A Million Ways to Die in the West getting some pretty poor reviews, DOFP might be able to pull off another weekend on top.

This craziness existed all the way back in 2000/2003 with the first and second X-Men film. Pyro was played by a different dude, Kitty was played by a different chick, Logan's flashbacks changed, Sentinels were originally just those Spec Ops guys led by Stryker, etc. It was inconsistent all over the damn place.

Best to not over think it. Just sit down and view whatever film you're viewing and get immersed in that particular world. Watching X2? Don't worry about the others. Watching DOFP? Don't concern yourself with the others. The time line in these movies is seriously ****ed, best not to even make sense of it. I'm sure Apocalypse will **** things up as well. As long as it's a good movie though, who cares.

Cast changes really bear no importance to continuity and the sentinels thing well, that doesn't do it either.

Is there anything that was actually negated or ignored?
