It seems that TWS was preferred among Cap fans and DOFP among X-fans which means that both films basically did their job. Though if I were to wager a guess I'd say that TWS won over more X-fans than the other way around.

I have to disagree, this place was filled with nothing but negativity and reboot chants while the TWS had a lot of members here salivating after those awesome trailers. Actually not just here but around most superhero discussion boards.

Either way Marvel fans in general won this year, me especially because I really enjoyed TASM2 as well.

Well I think you're talking about a large(r) third group--fans of Marvel Studios movies, which of course is largely supportive of those films and against others for whatever reason. Khev seems to be referring to fans of the old comics, or franchises through some other medium.

I don't know how much replayability DOFP will have for me.

It was the best movie I've ever seen where nothing really happens. :lol

I never thought I would ever see a movie about Wolverine sleeping. :lol

That was before Al Bundy gave it another watch and realized while he had one hand in his pants, that TDKR was awesome, I have to agree with him.

So a friend of mine made a fairly good point and I wasn't able to refute it....

She said Magneto was stupid, why? Well, he wanted to kill Mystique so she wouldn't trigger the Sentinels program, then he failed and gave Trask a sample of her blood, later on, in the sentinels presentation, if he wanted to bring the sentinel project down, he needed only to make the sentinels go rogue against the people in the presentation with the metal he put in them and the sentinel program could have easily been shut down...

But he didn't, he got a stadium as barrier, got the sentinels as guards and threatened to kill the president on live television, proving that the mutants are indeed capable of some nasty ****..... So again, did he try to stop the war or to start it?

Thoughts? Not trying to start anything, I love the movie, but this kinda ruins it for me, it shows Magneto as a dumb villain, what would you say to refute that?
