Re: Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past

Good call with Rutger Hauer!

I don't know about Danzig though. :lol Sure, he's a stocky little hard man with an agressive vibe.. but could he actually play the character well enough?

I still reckon Kurt Russell would've been great - even as an older man.

Re: Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past

Oh ****, Rutger would have killed it!

McKellan is getting up there, but I'm sure Fassbender will help to compensate for that.

Re: Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past

I hated the fake popeye forearms on him... and the fact that he was a mutant suddenly... and he wasn't the size of a tank... and the english accent... and his minor role in the movie... and everything else. And.

Re: Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past

My biggest beef with him was that he wasn't Charles stepbrother.

a simple evil stare at Charles when they went into Jeans house with Magneto saying 'not now' would've been something

Vinnie Jones should've been the new Dredd.

I can always count on you for the 180 degree perspective. :lol

If they had everything else right I wouldn't be too bothered by it.

I can sort of see that, although I really liked what Urban brought to the role. You might just get your wish in a reboot anyway. Ain't gonna be no sequels for that Dredd. :(

Re: Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past

Dredd isn't a muscled bound freak. He doesn't exist to beak people in half. He exists to dispence justice. I like Jones at all, but he's so wrong for that role.

Neither is Vinnie Jones. :huh :lol

His Juggy appliances & camera magic aside.. he's not really a bag of walnuts - he's an ex footballer (soccer). That requires a particular physique to begin with, & he's lost & gained weight for the various acting roles he's had over the years since leaving the game anyway.

He's just one hard, mean looking, intimidating dude. Perfect for Dredd.

Perfect. :)

I don't know; I thought Dredd was fine just the way it was, but Jones does have that "Dredd" grimace permanently afixed to his face.:lol

Re: Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past

Yeah I liked the film fine - as I said, but Urban isn't the ideal guy IMO that's all.

Even Jason Statham would've been great actually. :lol
