Hehe, well that's a bit misleading. Theyre basically saying, "yeah, we did a bad job communicating with everyone about what they wanted to do with the One". Not, "shame on us for trying to do this stupid stuff".

What the should have done is have it so that offline you would require the disc to be in the console, but if you're online you can run the game without the disc off the hard drive. Which makes an incentive for being online because then you don't have to keep switching game discs.

It's stuff like that that they really screwed up in telling people what was good about things. There was no advantage to anyone with a 24 hour checkin, it wasn't necessary.

Hah, I do, I'd be surprised if they keep the current policy. They might no change it though since they already did a big change. Which would be stupid, but I kind of feel like whomever was in charge of that majorly ****ed up so they might ignore their changes if they realize how stupid they are.

Those are pretty cool updates.
I especially like that the Kinect can recognize who is playing and automatically pull up the correct profile.

I've got multiple profiles on my Xbox360 and would be a luxury to no longer have to worry about signing in.

Still not convinced though. I'm keeping my options open.
