Got my Day 1 xb1 today and had just enough time to update and run initial set up before I had to go pick up my little one. I'm looking forward to running through the features tonight.

Updating right now. Its not a brick out of the box at least.
I still cant decide if it looks cool or god awful. I like the cotroller alot though. And the Kinect...couldnt they have used a color other than red for the sensor lights? The things creepy enough already. Not sure about the new shoulder buttons. Little awkward. The new dpad feels great though. Ill be breaking it in on some KI soon hopefully.

the only game I would play on there would be forza but is not worth paying 600 dollars for 1 racing game.
all exclusive launch titles are very weak.

I called around again just before leaving work and it appears all the Best Buys around me are now sold out. If they still had any I probably would have picked one up on my way home because I'm stupid that way. 
I like having things for the sake of having them. 
Bottom line is that it looks like both systems have done well at launch.

Ok, maybe TF wouldn't been overkill.
But I like DR3, Forza and Ryse enough to buy them and I feel that BF4 looks better on the X1.
DR3 is not weak.

How do you buy the $20 version of KI? All I can find is the free option.
Both the PS4, and the Xbox One had bad starting games, but Ryse? seriously? have you even played the game?
and what if BF4 looks better or worse.... seriously? you trolling right?
it has nothing to do with the exclusives on each console.

Picked up the xbox one last night. Did the update, installed the blu ray, Netflix and Hulu apps. Also set up direct tv on it. Messed around with the voice commands and configured some of the settings. Really digging it so far. Wife came home this morning after work and tried out the voice commands out. She likes the fact that she can navigate throughout the thing without searching for a remote/controller.
Gonna pick up dead rising 3 today and check out the gaming aspects... Any other recommendations game wise?

have you even seen it on PS4 ??
coming from a pc player that playes BF4 on ultra settings when I saw it running on PS4 and I was impressed on how good it looked on the console. nice and smoth. I don't think xbox one makes it look better then the PS4. it's probably the same.
Have you looked at the comparisons? Xbox One looks sharper somehow

my nephew just called me and he just got xbox one.
I will compare both versions tonight and let you know wich one looks the best.

Anyone playing Ryse ? I know the reviews werent great but I really fancy it.
Really happy with my games.
Killer Instinct, Forza bf4 and fifa. Fifa is actually quite a bit better than current gen.
Man the feedback from the pad on forza in each trigger motor is so well done. It really is a great game.

From the side by sides online, I agree but id like to see them both 1st hand.
Regardless, dice and EA did an amazing job on this on console. It really is a huge huge leap over ps3 and 360.
