It's pretty ridiculous at this point. People should just be happy with whatever choice in console they choose. I never understood this brand loyalty

The industry has proven that it can [and will continue to] support 3 consoles. Everyone wins.

Just got home ready to play Forza, I take out my xbox from the box and hear this rattling noise. Im like ok, let me test it all out first. I set it up, once done i put my game disc in.... makes some weird noises and doesn't read any games.... Mirco telling me 6-8 weeks for a replacement.... wtf

Quite easy for some. For me Sony have best track record of putting out the most diverse and interesting gaming experiences period.....

Am I fan yes, am i a fanboy godknows. Do I blindly defend my main system of choice no. I just don't like Microsoft or their consoles. Dint stop me buying xbox and xbox360 and will end up buying the One when there a few more games I want.

Ive heard of this happening. A bad disc drive. Normally, you could just replace it at the store, but the launch shortages make this stuff a bigger hassle than they need to be.

After the first full day, im pretty happy with mine so far. Its a little slow with some things and the ui isnt quite as intuitive as ps4 imo, but I cant complain really. Kinect is worthless to me, but the new controller design is great and I havent had any hardware or software issues yet. Knock on wood. The monolith design isnt so bad. Just wish it was all matte. They even put a glossy piece on the power brick which I thought was kind of funny. For me at least, its a solid start for the One.

Haha you noticed it too I thought it was just me being sad and liking the attention to detail. Even the connections look nice lol.
It is a very solid start. Microsoft obviously have a vision and have set out and delivered a very good machine.

There are some great games in line to come out on both machines and im just glad to be a part of it.

Ah man that sucks. Iv heard a few people saying of clicking hard drives. ?Hope you get it sorted out soon.

Well, everything loaded up great last night. played battlefield, Forza, dead rising, and did some part chat and shut her down. This morning is another story. Started her back up and bam problems. I can't get into anything. Messages, setting , games. For instance this is the message I am getting for settings, "Please try again, For some reason settings took to long to start. (0x8027025a)."

So much for thinking that people will shy away from this because of the higher price range. Just curious what stores got the Xbox one yesterday, not that I was going to get one yet, everywhere was sold out.

Now that could've been because of limited stock. But when it comes to Xbox price isn't a factor.

BTW I saw both PS4 and XBONE displays in the stores and I actually liked XBONE in terms of physical presence more.

The logo is centered but they probably should've brought the word "for" to the other side. I think they should get rid of that portion of the Achievement popup, though, and reduce the time it's on screen.

Thanks, luckily amazon is great with these things, they shipped out a new unit today, and since I'm in NY usps does sunday delivery. I hope this one is good.

well I was looking forward to playing with the xbox one last nite with my nephew's system.

I get there and when I went down stairs all I saw was this young kid with the worst dissapointment face ever.

I knew right away what was wrong.
the xbox one not reading the disk.

we just came back from eb games and I demanded a new unit right away. he said they cannot do anything about it. we have to contact microsoft and that they had several return units.

I have never seen a more dissapointed kid ever.
I told him dont worrie he will get one soon let's hope.

ohh man ! I wanted to play ryse so bad and forza and actually do and unboxing of the xbox one.

he almost smashed the thing! I stoped him.

it's sad story but he will get a new one and hope it's good.
