I'm sure Microsoft is gathering feedback and keeping in touch with customer comments. They had to do a complete 180 on their policies and implementing all the changes that they did and still trying to make launch was a huge time-crunch. Then again, they were to blame for a poor proposal in the first place.

They do need to refine the UI. Look at 360 Live for the simplicity. The UI is tailored to using the Kinect, but knowing a lot of gamers might completely avoid using it they do need to work on making the UI more user-friendly to those NOT using the Kinect.

A "Kinect-less" X-Box One might be the hot seller for next year's Christmas. It just depends on how long Microsoft wants to hold onto the Kinect as "part" of the X-Box One.

I hope any issues with the console are sorted out by then.
I'll get the Xbox One at the time Titanfall is released.

Hardware issues should be sorted by then and is probably more amplified than suggested.

This game just looks mental! Really looking forward to it.

It's crazy how I used to love Xbox live over the PS because of it's simplicity, but now, I feel as if I looking at my iPad screen and navigating through that with a controller is just not fun at all.

I hear ya but on the most part, kinect works really well. The ui is heavily designed for kinect but could be made simpler if you decide not to use it or your kinect decides to die :monkey2

I'm really looking forward to Titanfall. Especially after my disappointment of COD.

My Xbox itself is running great, no problems. Kinect works really well, I'm actually surprised how good it is

Most if not all of Microsoft's planned stuff is going to be the way of the future

I hope they bring back the ability to play your games without the disc in the drive. If it requires some sort of online check-in, so be it.

Yes I must admit I love just saying go killer instinct or go fifa and it loads off the hd.

Hopefully they will do it

that could be pretty neat. Like every 7 days it requires the disc to start up the game, but all the days in-between it just boots up without it.

I 100% agree and my brother mentioned that as well a loooong time ago.

However, on the tech-savvy and highly critical gamer market, you need to introduce it gradually. You just can't drop it on us like they did or you're going to get a backlash. :slap Especially when a competitor is there to keep you "in check" and offer the direct alternative to what the customers want.

If the Xbox One was the ONLY Next-Gen console then we would probably be owning what they initially said we were going to get.

I notice when my xbox is in standby mode, it takes a couple tries to get it to turn on. Once it's on though, the kinect picks up everything no problem.

It was also really confusing and none of the Microsoft people knew what they were talking about with their own stuff. It was just a mess.

Yeah it was an utter mess but they got there in the end :lol

I must admit they had me going back & forth on me considering to put my money down on one but I'm really glad I did in the end.

I think the One will go on to sell well now though. When my brother-in-law was setting mine up when I was away & he loved it. He's not a gamer at all but he loved the media side of things & he hasn't even seen the Kinect in action yet but my sister told me hat he's got to get one now he's seen mine.
