If you dont mind my asking, what made you get a One? You never seemed to show much interest in it (the opposite really) and as far as I know, you only play BF and already have that on PS4. Just curious.

Well, like everyone else, I was pissed at MS for the dirty stunt they pulled so PS4 became my first choice, the fact that it had more power under the hood just made the decision even easier.
That was then, this is now.
MS did their about face reversal, I liked what DR3, Ryse and Forza had to offer, TF will be a must own, I came up with some extra money, here I am.
MS really made a mess of their dashboard didn't they.
New to me! I know there were similar issues on the 360 but I never had any problems. My problems started with the XBox One.
Just felt it would be good to share just in case anyone else had similar issues.
Congratz to the new XBox One owners and welcome aboard!

The launch for both systems has been rocky.
Faulty optical drives on the XboxOne and faulty HDMI cables on the PS4. I can't even recall which is the one that won't play Blu-ray out of the box. That's unreal. LOL!
I've decided to wait it out until both parties sort things out. I've had my fair share of being an early adopter.

So far so good. Menus are different but not a pain to get around. I'll try hooking up the kinect later. I'm in no rush for that. Ryse is pretty badass though. Graphics are pretty sweet and I'm loving running around chopping folks up.

Other than no flash support, good.
Yeah, I'll pass along my thoughts. It's a pretty straight forward game but it's pretty fun. Haven't messed with the mp yet.

I got dead rising 3 today pretty cool game the amount of zombies is insane once i get done beating it think ill play it again wit hthe co op. On the graphics side its a nice looking good but Iwould say only a tad better than a 360 game I would have bought ryse but they were out so Ibought dead rising 3 and mario 3d for the wii u that game is amazing.
It took me about 7-8 hours to beat maybe 9 just because I took my time. It's simple game really and you pretty much rinse and repeat as far as moves you can do to kill people. Story wise it's pretty cool as are the graphics. I had a blast running around Ancient Rome and killing barbarians. I haven't tried the mp yet or the co-op but I will. On my first run through I got 630/1000 gamer score.
Finished Ryse--graphics are probably the best of the new games, extremely good facial animation (finally) and the quality is very close to a pre-rendered cinematic. The general gameplay is a bit weak, doing executions is optional, you get more XP by doing them, but you use XP to get more executions. I upgraded most of the executions and haven't noticed a difference. There also isn't one for chopping off someone's head which is weird. While not perfect, the gameplay could have been better designed with all their systems. Some things I never used and a lot of things weren't explained correctly.
I think it's still worth it though, if only for the graphics, the fighting is fine as long as it doesn't drag on too long. The multiplayer is pretty good too.

Went to Target to get a system since the site shows them as "in stock", but the guy at electronics said try back Sunday. The site kept updating for all other stores around area either coming in stock or going out of stock, but apparently my store didn't update.
I right after went to Walmart and got myself a Xbox One. Didn't get a game yet, but those can come for xmas. Got it all set up and everything is running fine, tried out a BluRay to test the Drive and that went smoothly.
I downloaded KI demo and really like it so far. Currently watching Netflix while I download the NBA demo. So the system is good so far.
