Ball is now definitely in Xbox's court. Will they change any of their ideas or even the price? Let's see.

Hmmmm I was actually disappointed with the sony showcase. Its very appealing in many ways but on a games front, I prefered what M$ showed. I probably end up with both at some point but bf4, forza, watch dogs and kilerinstinct for free ticks the boxes right now.

I am very curious to see what they do as well. Intelligence says they drop back and punt going with the same stuff as Sony, but I think their ego won't allow them to do it.

My internet at home is really spotty. If you've got to be connected to the internet at all times, then XBox is removed from consideration for that alone. I also do tend to buy cheap, used games months after release, since I don't get into new release hype. Good luck to XBox. I think they're gonna need it.

I don't think Sony needed to show a ton of games anyway.
All they had to do was not screw it up.
They focused it as a GAMING system, nice price, no restrictions.

I'm patient.
I KNOW the games will be coming.

You don't, it just has to check in once a day, not constantly

While Ego will factor in slightly, it's going to MOSTLY be " how much is this going to hurt our sales" as the deciding factor.

I personally am a bigger fan of the Xbox exclusives and it's what all my friends will purchase so It's a no brainer for me.

That should be the bigger factor (sales that is) but will they be willing to admit they need to do something different? That's the question.

I think the exclusives to Xbox are much better than the PS. I will end up with an X1 most likely so I can play any new Halo, Gears, and that new Ryse game looks awesome.

From face value currently, out of the box PS4 will be more user friendly.

I can't see MS doing anything but putting out on launch day what was already shown with all the negatives still in it.

Same here. I had both machines but prefered my 360 all round. I dont like all these silly restrictions with M$ but they had to show games here and they did a great job imo. I just thought sony would have rolled out uncharted, motorstorm..... and they didnt. I liked the look of the old man talking lol but that was about it. If I had to buy one purely based on games, id lean towards M$ based on what iv seen.

Im just happy next gen is very close now

I'm still thinking that MS may revise their policies. The amount of criticism they've received and all the "I'm switching to PS4" has probably got them freaking out. I mean lets face it, whether they like it or not, gamers are their main market. Gamers are gonna be the ones who will buy 3 more Xbox ones if theirs goes **** up or they release a slim version. If my old man bought an Xbox one for all the entertainment junk and it broke, he wouldn't buy another one. He'd get pissed and go and buy something else.

I'm really thinking MS will either change a bunch of stuff prior to launch or eventually via patches and updates like someone else mentioned.
