Its an Anime about the last of humanity living in walled cities to protect themselves from creepy grinning giant humans that dont speak & just eat normal folk

Those steelbooks are for the 2 live action movies that cover the first arc of the Anime

2nd Season of the Anime is due in 2017 so expect more live action movies to follow

The Anime is awesome not sure how well its translated to live action but I love it enough to give it the benefit of the doubt (same as I did with the Death Note movies)
