Only two movies ever gave me a nightmare:

PSYCHO (saw it at age four)

PRINCE OF DARKNESS (saw it opening weekend) Had a "Brotherhood of Sleep" dream that night!

Funny thing is my most vivid memory of a nightmare was a partially sleepless night when I was about six or seven and had watched "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas" with the family.

Wow, did I just say that out loud? :lol

Watching The Wolfman on bluray tonight. One of my very favorites!!! :D

No, no. Halloween is his best. :lecture

I can return to it time and time again, and always, it gives me the chills. If I'm home alone, I turn into a raving maniacal baby, and have to check under the beds and in the closets before going to bed.

:horror

I see now what Avfin needs to bring to CVII - a Michael Myers mask. :lol

:lecture Two awesome flicks right there and I recently rewatched both.

Hope you enjoy it! :duff

Thanks buddy. :duff appreciate it. :hi5: yeah, I haven't seen monster squad since I was a kid but it basically defined my childhood. I actually wanted to make a monster squad and go monster hunting. :lol gonna need to do some catching up on my viewing now. Think im gonna start with dracula as I now have my universal blu ray set.

Speaking of John carpenter, one of my favourites is assault on precinct 13. Quite underrated. Still my favourite carpenter movie is without a doubt halloween. It's just such a classic. I remember the first time I saw it I was just blown away. It was so creepy and chilling and that ending gave me goosebumps.

From the new Uni Monsters Blu-Ray set?

Of course! You didn't think I meant Benicio del Toro and Anthony Hopkins, did you? :horror

I did! Since that one is called The Wolfman whereas the 1941 Lon Chaney Jr. film is titled The Wolf Man. :monkey3:monkey3

I finally got my Universal Monsters Blu-rays, so am watching Dracula today. Will watch both English and Spanish versions. I've never seen any of the classic Uni monster movies, so I am pumped!!

You have...

Wait, what?

...never seen any of the Universal classic monster films!!! :horror

Well, Dracula will set you straight. This transfer is phenomenal. It seems many of us are starting with that particular entry in the box set. I loved it. It was simply jaw dropping.

Enjoy UT! :D

I know, I am very deprived. I watched everything else over the years except these classics!! Time to rectify the past. :lol
