First time I've seen it since cable ran the crap out of it in the 80s. That Groucho mask is still freaky. :panic:

I read on Blu-ray.com that it had a twist ending, but the ending was what I thought it would be. I guess back then they thought it was a twist. I still liked it. Conductor man was pretty cool for an old dude.

It took me some time before I remembered who the killer was posing as, but still a fun movie. The conductor was in a bunch of westerns in the 60s and 70s. Also born in Oklahoma. :rock

If you can appreciate early slasher movies, it's worth seeing. Jamie Lee Curtis is awesome in it. And a very young David Copperfield!

I've been watching Rob Zombies Halloween movies so much lately. I cant get enough of it...

Should receive my BD of this in the mail today actually. I quite enjoyed RZ's take on this. My favourite one is still the 1978 version, but I'm in no way comparing and take every movie individually.

Cool, I was gonna ask, are you a big fan of the originals? I think that's how I look at a lot of the horror remakes, texas chainsaw massacre, friday 13th, nightmare on elmstreet. They're not as good as the originals but they're enjoyable enough.

I actually liked the remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre better than the original. The other ones are a different story though :lol

I actually loved the remake of Texas chainsaw massacre, and the prequel was awesome too. Really great films will really great atmosphere. However I still prefer the original. Not really looking forward to the new "reboot" though.

Not sure if you can really consider this new one a "reboot". It's suppose to be a direct sequel to the first one not acknowledging the original part 2 and 3. Funny thing is part 3 is technically a direct sequel to part 1 not acknowledging the events of part 2 either:lol. TCM has more alternate universes than with Halloween series. Still got to give this a try since the reboot and prequel were awesome just as you said.

That's kinda cool. Last I heard I thought it was a remake set in the modern day. Which sounded like a terrible idea. Will give it a chance but in not holding my breath.
But yeah, I always thought all the sequels never seemed to make any sense. They just seemed like a mess of random characters, as though each film had its own continuity.

Haha, I was actually thinking the same thing. I watched the wolf man as part of my Halloween viewing just before I got the blu ray set, was thinking of watching the mummy but the wolf man just seemed so perfect for the weather etc. might have to go with the wolf man. It's like a sign. Haha.

Awesome! :D :hi5:

It's thought I'd share the view behind my house, the eerie British countryside bathed in fog. There are actually miles of open fields behind that fog, but they're completely covered. A nice backdrop while I watch the first episode of season 3 of the walking dead. Then settle down with the classic wolf man. :rock

Geez, that is creepy.
Great setting to make your own slasher flick. :yess:
