Loved let the right one in and for that reason alone I stayed away from the American remake. Generally Hollywood remaking a foreign film isn't a good idea. :lol.

Geez, that is creepy.
Great setting to make your own slasher flick. :yess:

Yeah, was really cool. As I was leaving work in the morning I was thinking how great it would be to get some new yet classic style horror movie in the style of the old hammer stuff, some werewolf stalking the foggy English countryside or bizarre coven of witches or something. I think the woman in black is the only example of something like that and I thought it worked brilliantly.
But yeah the fog lasted all day, great atmosphere to watch the wolf man. Transfer looked stunning too on the new blu ray set.

Yup! That gave me sleepless nights as a child. That very mask. :lol

Laurie Strode is in it too! I mean, Jamie Lee Curtis. :D

Yeah, I've never seen that one but think I need to hunt it down. This Halloween seems to have involved a lot of finally watching stuff I've meant to see for ages, or stuff I hadn't seen in a long time.

Gosh, I'm really torn on this one. Great makeup effects, or course. But something is just "off" on this one, and I'm not sure whether it was pacing, or the lack of action, or what. I always feel like I should love this more than I do for some reason.

Got two more days to wait for me, we don't get it over here until Friday night. Can't wait though. I was a big fan of the comics before the tv show so seeing the prison at the end of series 2 was really exciting.

Yeah, according to Darabont, they're going to try and stay close to the comics as long as it flows for TV viewing, of course.

I take it you've seen the first episode then, of the new season?

Just finished The Walking Dead S3, Ep.2.

What did you think of it fs?

Rick is ruthless, but...

I hated the part where Lori tells Rick that he's not a killer. That there will just weaken the guy. It actually pissed me off a little.
They need a guy with grit to survive. Not a boyscout.

That's cool. Although that means there could be some messed up stuff coming.

Yeah I've seen the first episode. Was great,
although a bit brutal at the end when he hacked off herchel's foot. I think cos it all suddenly happened so quickly

Right. The season started off very well with that first episode.

You'll be in for a treat this Friday if you like brutality. :D

That innkeeper's wife screams like a cackle of a bird and she does it too many times. It gets annoying. :lol

Great movie though.
