Haha yeah the little eye hole he peeps through is kinda funny I guess. Haven't watched that one in a while but yeah, I generally think of it as being about as good as the original. With the added bonus of actually having Jason.

Finally watching the final film in the new Universal Monsters bluray set:

Bride of Frankenstein

Been saving it for last for some reason... :D

Just finished Twins of Evil on blu.

Highly recommended, especially if you've never seen any Hammer. Check it out to see what the fuss is all about.

Got my Halloween 2 collectors edition blu ray the other week and have been patiently waiting until Halloween night to watch it back to back with the first movie. However I just found out that the original Halloween will be playing at my local cinema on Halloween night. Soooo excited to see it on t,he big screen, probably my only chance. Tickets booked. Can. Not. Wait.

So I reckon I'll just watch Halloween 2 now instead. Can't wait to see what the transfer is like.

I'll probably get that one for next year. I've got enough to try and finish by the 31st. :panic:

Russell1982, I'll have to check that out soon. Last time I watched Halloween '78 was on one of the special edition DVDs--really interested seeing the increase in quality of sound and picture going to Bluray. Thanks for reminding me to do this!

BTW I'm new to the forums so just wanted to say hi and its nice to meet you all!

Well we just had a guys weekend up at my cottage, and all I did was play horror movies throughout the weekend on both TVs. Got some mixed reactions to some of the movies that I chose i.e. Halloween II and Friday the 13th IV.

Welcome to the show Klaster! :wave

Yeah, I've seen the movie about a million times and bought it on blu ray a while ago but don't think I ever got round to watching it until today, was really blown away by the picture quality. Definitely worth the upgrade.
