I honestly hate balloons---like every time I see one it makes me feel like it's going to pop right in front of my face

Me too a little, remember that scene in Aliens when Bishop gets into that tine pipe and crawls alongs?. The moment they close it up i'd starting freaking out

that scene is nightmare inducing... Also the part of the Shawshank Redemption makes me squirm... like, I keep thinking, what if he is going the wrong direction in the pipes and gets stuck there and water starts flowing... slowly scary death....

Haha right!!??? Thank GOD I dont live in Africa! But a bot fly is a fly that lands on you and will lay an egg on your skin, and it will crawl inside and lay there till its ready to hatch. . .(see pic) I always flip out if i see a fly try to land anywhere near me

exactly, not being able to move and being stuck, that is really really scary, thinking about it makes me want to leave my house and go to the back yard.. being stuck somewhere....

I've got a fear of heights, but not necessarily a phobia if you consider a phobia to be an unrealistic and unjustified fear of something.

I can still make it to the top level of a high-rise tower, but very slowly make my way to the window to look down (if for no better reason than because I was dared to). The whole time, however, my knees feel very weak and there's this chilling feeling in my spine.

I guess my fear/phobia would be spiders. I don't mean silly house spiders, I'm talking about those massive nasty ass ones from Australia:

the one weird fear I have is sleeping in total darkness, I don't have a fear of the dark or anything when I'm awake, but to sleep i usually have to leave the tv on, I've tried but I get a lot of nightmares, is weird, i can go to sleep fine, but then in the middle of the night I wake up all freaked out...

I absolutely cannot sleep when there is a light source on. If I can still sense light through my closed eyelids, I will not sleep.
Therefor, I'm in complete darkness when I close my casket, errr... I mean... when I lay down.

The disturbing part is that it involved many clips of true, recorded events. But that's part of what made it enjoyable.

about the darkness, yes, the human body needs to sleep in darkness to create Melatonin, if you don't have darkness you can develop a deficiency ....
