Just finished it for the second time, didn't reach the levels of excitement I had the first time, I was hyped as all hell and it exceeded it leaps and bounds so second time would never be as much - but it's still extremely, extremely well done. Still breezes through with incredible action peppered throughout and lovely scenes between those. Still as epic as the first time around, grand, dramatic and sweeping.

I think, for me at least, it's cemented itself as one of the greatest comic book films, it definitely stands alone in its scope and tone and approach to these characters. I definitely would like more. I'll prepare myself for not getting anything else, but will hope that those in charge see how popular it is and how special a film Snyder has created, it really does stand amongst its own within the genre along with his others. There's definitely a place for what the MCU does and these types of films also.

So psyched we got to have this!

Anyone pick up the newly remastered BvS 4K release with the proper IMAX formatting? I checked around and couldn't find one for sale anywhere so ended up ordering through oldies.com.

I'm waiting for HDZeta to release that and Justice League.

How does it standalone? I see these comments yet no explanation as to what it does. The Dark Knight stood alone. IW/EG stood alone. Star Wars stood alone.

Anybody? Anybody? Bueller?

There's no other comic book film which has the same tone or vies for the same grandiosity within that tone, treating its characters mythologically in scale, the way it is shot, lit, musically composed. It's very operatic.

I adore the PT of Star Wars, RotS is my favourite SW film, and that is very operatic and grand in a similar way, it's odd that you can't see it as a fan of the PT.

Sorry I just remembered that you compared it to Attack of the Clones actually, in which case, you're stone cold wrong.

You know I'm not sure. It either came out yesterday or not until April 6th. :lol

The one I preordered will probably arrive in June.

If it looks like this here you got the right one https://www.bestbuy.com/site/batman...tra-hd-blu-ray-2016/35198983.p?skuId=35198983. I missed out on it as well, can you link the website you bought it from? According to bluray.com Apple and Movies anywhere have updated their streaming copies to the imax remaster so if you have the digital copy from the unrated 4k disk then you can check it out now. Obviously not going to be as good but atleast you can can get an idea of the improvements.

You certain you didn?t order the old 4K lol

Aw crap, lol.

Yep I just pulled up HBO Max BvS and skipped to the Knightmare and no IMAX. It's also only 1080p. What gives.

EDIT: I see that it was supposed to be there but HBO MAX didn't do whatever update was necessary or changed their minds at the last minute. Supposedly it's only on Apple TV, Vudu and Movies Anywhere for the time being.

Saw in another interview ZS says the Knightmare epilogue takes place 1-5 years later.

Not only do I love it for Battfleck's F-bomb - and the fact he can psych out Jaroker as much as Jaroker can psych out him - but it means 50-somethings can still go toe-to-toe with younger clown princes of crime (if they maintain a rigorous training regimen, at least).

What makes you think Joker is younger than Batman?
In real life Leto is a year older than Affleck if that?s any indication.
