What makes you think Joker is younger than Batman?
In real life Leto is a year older than Affleck if that?s any indication.

Leto is only 2 years younger than Nicholson when he played the Joker. That's crazy. Leto looks 28...maybe 30 years old.

Weird, yeah, I assumed he was in his 30s but now I think about it, he's been around for a while. He looks younger in SS and ZSJL, but then makeup can do that.

Watched that part with flash saving iris . Damn that?s such a beautiful scene . Probably one of my fav scenes in comic book movies. Glad they cut it from the crappy justice league wheadon cut. It would stand out from all the crap.

I will obviously say if Disney had the rights pretty much no character would be left behind in development hell. It won?t be dark or anything but a flash movie would have been made by now under them .

They desperately need a fiege or new management at WB

Yep I just pulled up HBO Max BvS and skipped to the Knightmare and no IMAX. It's also only 1080p. What gives.

EDIT: I see that it was supposed to be there but HBO MAX didn't do whatever update was necessary or changed their minds at the last minute. Supposedly it's only on Apple TV, Vudu and Movies Anywhere for the time being.

I think even if you hate Snyder, you have to agree he?s done a lot m of the best work in any comic book movie:

The casting is a masterclass, even Lex (if he wasn?t played as ace Ventura)

The visuals are always incredible

Specific scenes like Flash?s intro or the Batman Warehouse, or the Watchmen prologue.

Character costume design. I think no one is even close to beating him here.

I do agree the Flash rescue is my favorite part. I'm not a Flash reader so I assume Iris is significant in the comics? I try to separate art/artist but I'm still conflicted with how much I like Ezra Miller here. I mean he's still in the Lesser Potter Movies while Johnny Depp is exiled to his disgrace island so what do I know?

The funny thing about BvS Lex is that at the time I really didn't appreciate the reimagining of the character as a Mark Zuckerberg / Jack Dorsey type, I wanted comic book Luthor. But perhaps Snyder was a few years too early with this interpretation because the events of the last year have completely exposed these big tech nerds as the power hungry real world influencers that they are (especially with how they went out of their way to act as a publisher, shape an election narrative - all of which is probably just the tip of the iceberg). They really are the modern day Luthor equivalents.

Of course that type of person would be put out / intimidated by someone like Superman, who has a different kind of power to them (one that they can't buy or control) and who choses not to use it for personal gain. The very notion would be as alien to them as Kal-El is himself to Earth. They would do anything within their power to tarnish that person's reputation and change the narrative around them, remove the threat.

The flash doesn't suck, but this version with Ezra Miller sure does. They made him more like Kid Flash. I still haven't watched this yet (maybe next week) but Ezra is awful as Flash. So I have no desire for the upcoming Flash movie. As long as it is based on this character, there is no way I will like it or be able to enjoy it.

As for Lex...

I don't get WB at all. The last 2 versions of Lex have been so awful. Zuckerberg is one of the reasons I can't stand BvS and was never able to rewatch the UE version. The minute I see him on screen, I just think **** NO and get totally taken out of the movie. And then on CW Supergirl they cast John Cryer. I honestly don't know which is worse.

We have never seen a good, serious evil businessman Lex Luthor. I want Lex from the JL cartoon. Gene Hackman/Kevin Spacey was a petty criminal "genius" who couldn't get past real estate in 2 attempts. And awful comedy attempts. Kevin Spacey just followed the formula and tried to be a more serious Gene Hackman.

Neither ruined the movie like Zuckerberg did, but c'mon WB... Give us a serious bad *** Lex Luthor already!!!

I would love to see a Superman against Lex in some cool *** looking Power Armor.

Yeah I can't speak to comic Flash but that stinks if SnyderFlash is that far removed from the source material.

I also have a have trouble with SnyderLex. His affected actor-y tics are not convincing at all. Stops the movies dead for me.

Didn't care for Spacey either but aside from Routh I think SR is a totall whiff.

Hackman gets nostalgia immunity from me, like Adam West and Sigmund the Sea Monster.

Flash is much much better in ZSJL but still the kid style flash, which I have 0 issue with. Brings an interesting dynamic to the team.

Remember this Lex is actually Lexs son. In my head there was always a possibility Lex fakes his death and could have returned. Originally Zack wanted Cranston to be Lex until he saw how much of a **** Eisenberg is.

For me the DCEU is the most accurate DC in movie form, ignoring Lex and Batmans bloodthirst.

Ok afraid we?ll never get this close again..
