Yeah, it?s pretty ignorant to say that an ENTIRE group of people who are fans of a specific filmmaker...from all over the world, different ages, genders, backgrounds are ALL toxic morons.
One might almost suggest that someone would have to be a toxic moron themselves to make such a sweeping generalization.

My own explanation doesn't work for me either now. I've pretty much conceded in prior posts that there are poorly-founded plot elements which I don't have much trouble handwaving away. The one that I stubbornly wanted to resolve was Darkseid being seemingly too absent-minded to remember how to get back to Earth. But if resolving that with the Boom Tube explanation just opens up other cans of worms, then there's no point dwelling on it.

We can just go with the point of view that Khev explained a little earlier: In the vastness of space, and from potentially a whole separate universe, Earth was as lost to Darkseid as a needle in a haystack.

There's too much fun to be had over four hours to worry about every silly plot point having airtight logic.

The other part of the MBs creating the Boom Tubes Theory that doesn?t quite work for me is how they appear in the movie. They seem to be coming from another point in space rather than being sent by the MBs to that point in space. Plus Steppenwolf shows up almost instantaneously. If the MBs created the Boom Tube, you?d expect a bit of a delayed reaction while Darkseid decided how to respond - especially if he hadn?t seen the MBs for 5,000 years. What if he was on his throne (the can) when the tube arrived?

Since the Boxes are sentient I'm fine assuming that when they called out to Steppenwolf they advised him that a super powerful Kryptonian woke them up but was no more.

First i am not a Snyder fanboy or a cultist, i like his movies just like any other movie director, i prefer his vision with the DC characters than Nolan's for example, but that is it.

I dont think its a masterpiece, but it's definitely one of the most important movies of the last 20 years. I am not trying to change your opinion just respect things.
