Aquaman looked great underwater then cheap and soap opera like on land. Not sure why. I also personally don?t like the tone of the movie. That being said, it was a good time. It had some stand out moments, I liked the villain. Black Manta was lame and unnecessary.

I hope we do get more serous tone movies in the DCEU. I hate this crappy version of MCU this light hearted jokey tone

The people who think ZSJL is a masterpiece like The Godfather are idiots. Absolute idiots. You can like it more than The Godfather, but when objectively rating the films, it is nowhere close to any all time lists. The problem with Snyder fans, here and on social media, is they ACTUALLY believe this movie is a masterpiece and all time material. Fools.



The Last Jedi actually deserved it though.

But that is the thing TheDucky, for a movie to be considered a masterpiece for someone, it just need to be good to them.

You say about objectively rating movies but its impossible to do that since every movie is subjetive because they are a piece of art.

Best roof running sequence in any movie ever

Best civilian save by a superhero since STM

Great cliff fall

Scary monster reveal!

And it beat Marvel to the punch (pun intended) with an awesome Juggernaut style set piece!

Mera is insane hot in her final costume

Yeah I dig this silly movie.

Yes the dialogue starting at the sahara scene ending at Italy is downright atrocious and I don’t care lol

Nah, after watching the Aquaman sequence, it's not even close. Aquaman has better effects, action, music, faster pace, and better editing. It kind of looks like a video game with the continuous shots, but you can see everything. No shaky cam or a thousand cuts to make the action seem faster.

Those Bourne films are not aging well. <---- this chase better too.

And for the record, I hate the Aquaman film. It's trash.

I’m just going to come out and say it while I love EG Cap the 3rd act in Aquaman is way more ambitious and over the top than anything in EG.



Ocean Master final battle costume and AM gold costume are some of my favorite superhero costumes ever put on film.

Aquaman certainly had the spectacle. I really disliked the fishbowl lens in some of the sequences. Just didn't look right and took me out of the immersion. A pretty good story though. Action was top notch. I did like Snyder's take that Atlanteans have a British accent. It worked for Mera. Obviously the actor playing Manta and Momoa are not great actors. I still cringe at his acting in Stargate Atlantis.

I will admit, I have never watched the Aquaman movie in its entirety. I've only watched snippets of it at a time.

The first one was on its theatrical release. I was in the USA on vacation and heavily jetlagged. I fell asleep at various points.

The next few times were from HBO, but since it is on cable TV, I never got to start it. I sort of channel surfed to it.

One of the main things I remember from aquaman was that every little thing that happens on screen has a musical cue like a classic disney cartoon.

It's not really a bad thing but once you notice it it's hard to pay attention to anything else.
