I will say this after ZSJL I have undeniably absolutely enjoyed MOS/BvS/WW/AM more on their rewatch marathon I did.

My biggest surprise was enjoying MOS more a very well paced movie with some really epic jaw dropping shots of Superman flying.

But does that mean i’m fully behind the restore movement...I don’t know...maybe, I guess...

This is exactly the first thing I did after watching the ZLJL the first time, I just got redone rewatching all the films pre JL and it all ties in extremely well, they used to make fun of the knightmare scene but with the turn out of the ending in ZSJL mind blown, hell I went back and watched his first directorial debut of a movie: Dawn of the Dead, lolol didn?t know he recycled actors also, I completely forgot Michael Kelly was there [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787]

I rewatched BvS the night before ZSJL premiered and I liked it more than I remember. I'm still waiting for a DC movie to be as good as the original Suicide Squad trailers were. Those were fun.

I finally watched the new SS trailer and holy hell is that bad. And it took a lot to shake me off because you say "giant shark man" and I will ride that bronco all night.
Also the vitamin D jokes were especially cringey coming from a writer who is notorious for lots and lots and lots and lots of **** "joke" tweets.

It?s funny that many of the same people who are complaining about the, yes, toxic idiots review bombing Godzilla are the same people who were cheering when other toxic idiots were doing the EXACT same thing to Last Jedi and Captain Marvel.
I guess it?s only bad and toxic when it?s being done to support a movie that you don?t like, but is some kind of counter cultural peoples revolution when it is being done to attack a movie you dislike.
At least keep your views on dumb stuff like this consistent.

I like Aquaman more than 50% of the MCU movies the costumes, armor, helmets and flowing capes are freaking bad *** and gorgeous and I absolutely love the creature designs, set pieces and more importantly the story.

Good stuff movie deserves more credit, fun roller coaster of a movie.

ZSJL is a masterpiece to some people just like The Godfather is to others, and this is an absolute truth.

I dont think its a masterpiece, but it's definitely one of the most important movies of the last 20 years. I am not trying to change your opinion just respect things.
And again i think these people who are bashing Godzilla vs Kong as dumb **** idiots and they dont have any respect for Adam Wingard, i really want to see this movie, i loved the other three.

The other part of the MBs creating the Boom Tubes Theory that doesn?t quite work for me is how they appear in the movie. They seem to be coming from another point in space rather than being sent by the MBs to that point in space. Plus Steppenwolf shows up almost instantaneously. If the MBs created the Boom Tube, you?d expect a bit of a delayed reaction while Darkseid decided how to respond - especially if he hadn?t seen the MBs for 5,000 years. What if he was on his throne (the can) when the tube arrived?

Just ignore that they need a trident that controls sea animals even though before they get that trident they show an octopus playing the drums lol

I just saw Aquaman for the first time last week.
It looked bad so I ignored it on release but then after ZSJL pleasantly surprised me I decided to give it a try.
I couldn?t believe how good it was. Visually amazing.
It also reminded me of a great eighties movie.
Had a nice old school adventure movie vibe.
It was part Superhero movie, part adventure movie, part fantasy, part sci fi, with even some small horror touches thrown in, and it balanced those tones very nicely.
Even though it made a ton of money but I think this movie is really underrated.

Aquaman looked great underwater then cheap and soap opera like on land. Not sure why. I also personally don?t like the tone of the movie. That being said, it was a good time. It had some stand out moments, I liked the villain. Black Manta was lame and unnecessary.

I hope we do get more serous tone movies in the DCEU. I hate this crappy version of MCU this light hearted jokey tone
