I just don’t care about Reeve’s Batman. I want to see more Affleck.

I’d be more curious about Pattinson if we didn’t already have an awesome live action Batman last year, that was seemingly connected in a cinematic universe for the long haul. And with Keaton rumored to be coming back for the Flash movie instead of Jeffrey Dean Morgan who was obviously cast with Flashpoint in mind, I feel burnt out.

Hell, we haven’t even seen the first Pattinson Batman movie and they’re already saying it’ll be a full trilogy; it reminds me of what happened with all the Terminator and Predator movies that were intended to jumpstart trilogies.

So how many Batman is that now?

I mean idk. What else can u you do with affleck Batman? He?s worn out and tired and ready to hang it up. It was stupid making him Batman for 20 yrs. plus his joker is horrible , if they still are keeping him. I just want a fresh take and a Batman that is fresh and in his prime and more than happy to be Batman. I?m tired of this broken Batman nonsense we have seen. Sure affleck was great but he wasn?t perfect imo. People like to jerk that warehouse scene a little to hard

That spoiler sounds a hell of a lot like Endgame where Marvel's version of Batman did the sacrificing. As for Robin - that'd be Peter Parker/Spiderman.

Battfleck gave us the Dark Knight Returns Batman without being *too* old. He was ready to give up the day-to-day crimefighting to lead the JL. He could have stuck around for years longer in a leader/mentor/detective role (with the occasional fisticuffs on the side).

Don?t get too excited the word is that the extra role of him as Batman and Wayne will be used sparingly in a manner to show what was and what would be in a multiverse type scenario.

Isn't Geoff Johns out?

Yes. Johns has been out for a while. Walter Hamada has "taken over", who is actually from a film executive background. Jim Lee also is supposedly stepping in a lot as well. His handling of "Justice League" and the manner in which he booted out Snyder in favor of Whedon has reportedly ruined his reputation with Hollywood.

Apparently, Johns will still be allowed to "advise" but has zero power and authority like before. I'm actually surprised he turned out to be such a disaster but I guess it follows a trend of comic creators being poor filmmakers on their own. I liked his work on the Green Lantern comics and expanding the mythos (bringing in the Sinestro Corps, the other Lanterns, etc. etc.).

Only thing johns has any involvement with at dc now is stargirl. Dude ran himself out of hollywood being a ********. Nobody likes him or will work with him. He hacked up everyones films in post production without even consulting the directors. He ruined most of the first wave of dceu films. Its no coincidence that ben affleck is coming back to the role now that johns is gone and snyder is back

Warehouse scene is good yes.

TWS is not only better but the entire TWS movie is that warehouse scene on steroids.

BvS extended cut should?ve added another warehouse type scene instead Snyder gave us a fruit basket investigation what a fail lol

The dark knight rises doesn't count because in that time line he was literally batman for two years before he retired. How could you not like the warehouse scene? It's better than 90% of the ridiculous cgi action in other superhero films.

Batman/Wayne was bitter, brutal and cynical in BvS, but he wasn?t tired or broken, and be sure as hell did not want to hang his cape... As for JL, let?s wait and see what the Snydercut brings...
