.................
Honestly though, I think it'll be out in 3-months(maybe sooner)
300 came out on March 16, 2007 and released on DvD/Blu-Ray on July, 31st, 2007. A little over four months, but it was a box office success.
Costing $65 Million to make, and taking in almost $71 Million it's opening weekend(that's a little over $5 Million in profit)(with it's total gross revenue being: $456,068,181)
Now I know Sucker Punch hasn't hit it's full theatrical stride yet, but it cost almost $20 Million more to make, compared to 300, and it's gross revenue is only $28,310,371 as of today, I'm curious to see what it'll be at after this weekend, it has yet to make a profit.
Although it's only been released in the following countries as of March 31st:
(and will still be, being released in theaters up until April 15th I believe)
1.Argentina
2.Croatia
3.Hungary
4.Malaysia
5.Netherlands
6.Serbia
7.Singapore
8.Slovenia
9.Brazil
10.Bulgaria
11.Canada
12.Iceland
13.India
14.Italy
15.Mexico
16.Philipines
17.Poland
18.Spain
19.Taiwan
20.USA
21.Egypt
22.France
23.Belarus
24.Czech Republic
25.Germany
26.Hong Kong
27.Kazakhstan
28.Portugal
29.Russia
There's still a good chance that it's gross revenue will rise significantly as it hits the Asian market. But if it doesn't, I can't see them
not trying to capitalize and releaseing it sooner on Blu-Ray.
I don't know if this made any sense, and the only reason I compare this to 300 is because it sort of falls under the same category(I think)
