Sorry, has that been discussed already?

This is my first time in this thread.

Have you ever fired a .45?

didnt really look at the gun. All i saw was her pointing the gun at the dude then fire it and it missed, hit the light bulb and shot the little girl on the floor.:dunno

Yea but she sure could handle that other gun lol although that was her in her fantasy's.

I see what you did there. :D

To be clear, I have no opinion of my own...

...and I'm really trying to get talked into seeing it. :)

I would say the results would be the same for any girl that prolly never fired a gun in their life.

I don't know how to sell it. It is not a mindless popcorn fantasy action romp, and it's not misogynistic shock garbage. It is a painfully acute tragedy with brilliant art direction, but sure as hell not Sophocles.

I'd have to see it again to really convince you.

Has Zack ever lurked here?

I've shown him stuff on the site a couple of times in the past, but really he doesn't do too much web surfing. He's go, go, go all the time.

He's really mellow about this kinda stuff, though. He'd probably just laugh it off.

Now, Debbie is the one I wouldn't want to see this thread. You think I'm a "rabid dog"... She'd be tearing people new a-holes :lol

.................:pfft:

Honestly though, I think it'll be out in 3-months(maybe sooner)

300 came out on March 16, 2007 and released on DvD/Blu-Ray on July, 31st, 2007. A little over four months, but it was a box office success.

Costing $65 Million to make, and taking in almost $71 Million it's opening weekend(that's a little over $5 Million in profit)(with it's total gross revenue being: $456,068,181)

Now I know Sucker Punch hasn't hit it's full theatrical stride yet, but it cost almost $20 Million more to make, compared to 300, and it's gross revenue is only $28,310,371 as of today, I'm curious to see what it'll be at after this weekend, it has yet to make a profit.

Although it's only been released in the following countries as of March 31st:
(and will still be, being released in theaters up until April 15th I believe)
1.Argentina
2.Croatia
3.Hungary
4.Malaysia
5.Netherlands
6.Serbia
7.Singapore
8.Slovenia
9.Brazil
10.Bulgaria
11.Canada
12.Iceland
13.India
14.Italy
15.Mexico
16.Philipines
17.Poland
18.Spain
19.Taiwan
20.USA
21.Egypt
22.France
23.Belarus
24.Czech Republic
25.Germany
26.Hong Kong
27.Kazakhstan
28.Portugal
29.Russia

There's still a good chance that it's gross revenue will rise significantly as it hits the Asian market. But if it doesn't, I can't see them not trying to capitalize and releaseing it sooner on Blu-Ray.

I don't know if this made any sense, and the only reason I compare this to 300 is because it sort of falls under the same category(I think)

I hope it does well because its something different. Its a prequal or origins story or spinoff of the same franchises wev all seen for years.

Exactly man, it was an amazing movie. I fell in love with the characters(mainly just Rocket, Sweet Pea, and Baby Doll) and the "emotional" part of the story was stunning in my opinion.

I honestly don't see the hate that some people have for this movie.

So what was she doing in reality while she danced? Anybody have any theories on that? Since the brothel aspect was a whole alternative reality, with similar situations happening in real life (like Blue getting stabbed, Sweet Pea escaping, Baby Doll starting a fire etc)
