When it has a purpose, and it's consistent with the style, I can appreciate it. Unintegratable bits annoy me.
That is because you either didn't "get" Cabin In The Wood or you don't nibble on Whedon's Weenie.
I liked it in Kill Bill, but it seemed smoother there. It had a 70's atmosphere to it, so using stuff from 70's tv and movies fit the style.

I didn't know there was an original, but that Stiglitz bit was still completely out of place. Nothing even remotely comparable happened through the whole movie.
Eh....honestly if they kept it super strict, we'd never get that great scene with the Cat People theme...
Walmart by my place had this for $5, so definite score....
But no extended version with that one.

pretty cool ! some awesome anime style fight scenes.
I wish the entire movie was in the Alternate Reality.
