Have you seen the latest photo posted of what’s being said to be a production copy of their Ledger? It’s the best we will probably ever get in production from a company.
I haven't seen that but still, Harry Potter and Bruce Wayne is really bad. And their price tag is way beyond other brands.

Yeah i got to agree on that but JND is still prototype we will see how the actual product turns out.
Rumor has it, this is a production piece. Paint apps don’t match the prototype, and this photo just came out. It’s 100% JND 1:6 Ledger.

I don't know what to think about all this, I'm very confused lol

One part of me is happy because I think Inart product looks better, but other part is sad just because this one is cheaper and a standalone figure. Prefer that than buying Inart 2 pack. At the end I just want the red suit Joker.

I want one red suit Joker too... but so far, the big boys have not provided a feasible option for me. Either way, too expensive or just doesn't represent the character well enough. There's no good one-off option at the moment.

I'll be curious what the offer their Artisan Joker for. I won't PO no matter what, but curious if it is something I might pick up later.

It would be great, if this WB $1K requirement is indeed lifted, if InArt did a 'slap back' to HT by offering a red suit one-off for a competitive price right before Artisan goes up for sale.

Welp... I guess the new terms for the contract didn't work out in Inart's favor. It wasn't really WB though but Phillips, right?

It’s also over $1,000 more than the other options.
About $500 more, but are they not making up for that, with the quality of it? I’ll take this at $1000, than either the InArt or Artisan at $500. This thing isn’t being put together in a factory in China by people you’ve only trained for a couple of months, but rather done in-house proper.

If I remember correctly, JND stated the production numbers for this is 5,000 or less. They’re actually rooting the hair, the best purple coat we’ve ever gotten, with details that were overlooked time and time prior. If you want Ledger makeup that looks like the real thing, features the exact paint used on customs, without putting all of those funds into buying a custom sculpt, this is it. This is as close as we’re going to get from a production standpoint for years.

If JND made a Joker without silicone I'd buy it. PVC heads always have the best likeness compared to silicone and resin. It's the case with statue for sure and it does seem to be the same with figures.
Also it would be cheaper...

I'd love to own everything from their Joker figure appart from the heads, it would be a great base to put on a custom head.

lol joker 2 is coming out and they def wanna squeeze as much merch as possible. Kinda like what happened with pennywise.

Well possibly with most of their releases going forward they’ll offer their “Kojun lite” PVC sculpts, perhaps they offer a bank robber version next year, we’ll see. I agree about it being a great base, I definitely see myself using their coat & possibly the grey blazer dependent on material used.

I myself complain about a lot of inaccuracies and things I dislike, but if that’s what we’re getting come release then I’m completely happy with the purchase. It blows the competition away, their own prototype, followed by most Ledger customs. The main thing I’d want them to fix in production is the green waistcoat, from photos it appears the fit and look is awful.

I remember the first time watching this film in the theater. It remains one of the best theatrical experiences in my life. I loved it...

But as soon as the next watch after that, something changed for me. I still enjoyed it, but it lost so much of its luster. And now a sequel puts its legacy in greater jeopardy.

I remember getting goosebumps in the theater when he makes the blood smile, favorite scene by far and highly doubt anything in the sequel will touch it. The media wanted something to happen so bad that it gave the film so much attention that it made a billion dollars.

Believe it or not, some films you should only watch once, that’s not a comment on quality but rather subject matter. I revisited this film to get a better handling on his Joker, bad idea. When you watch the film more than once for Joker, it ruins it. He’s not The Joker, but Arthur Fleck. The subject matter of mental health is an exhausting topic to begin with, so to say this film is not suitable for rewatch-ability makes sense, it’s a miserable watch that was envisioned to be.

Yep, you know a masterpiece when you see it. Unfortunately, this figure is not.

Crazy how much hate this figure is getting. It's a really good sculpt and a fraction of the price of the other options. This is a definite pick-up for me, although I'm opting for sculpted hair. I like the rooted, but don't think the price hike for that will be worth it. Plus, sculpted matches all my other Jokers.

Can't wait to finally have something from this movie on my shelf!

Hot Toys has never been good at doing suits. This one is pretty bad all around, maybe 5 years ago it would be an instant PO, but now there are better options.

People is saying this release is under the new movie license, that could be the reason why this figure don't have the price limit?
Nope. Under the first movie. WB most likely just lifted the stupid mandate recently since it looks like Mafex is also now stepping in to do 1/12 figures from the movie as well.
