I honestly love Jar Jar. He's a great part of TPM and adds a lot to the group dynamic.

*** AWESOME

No ******* way, genuinely can't believe they made him lol. Hopefully this doesn't get stuck in prototype hell

This is actually amazing.

OMG OMG!!!!

This is so bought.

So excited to see this! I’m definitely in.

Holy hell he's a must have. Please give us Anakin and Obi-Wan!

Finally! Definitely POing this when it goes up!

This will be a day long remembered. Instant PO!

I like Jar Jar and I'm tired of pretending that I don't

I’m so in for this.

Hilarious. Honestly it would be the perfect character and figure to represent the prequels.

He does sum them up perfectly. :monkey3

:lol

I'm genuinely surprised by the love for him shown here. I hated him in 1999 as much as The Phantom Menace itself.

The only thing apart from time that I think has softened the disappointment for Jar Jar, is that even worse characters have appeared since 2015.

Honestly for me, it’s the appreciation I have for GL’s work after what we’ve gotten from Disney the last few years. Disney hasn’t been all bad (Mando S1/S2, TBB, Rebels, Andor and Rogue One) but just doesn’t hit me the way the original 6 and TCW does.

GL’s Star Wars has its faults like anything else, and the OT and PT aren’t perfect but damn am I thankful to have grown up with them.

Honestly? I think a lot of us were in the closet about the PT. It was sort of like Nickelback. You talk a bunch of **** with your friends, but then you’re jamming along to “Rockstar” on the FM channels.:lol Part of what happened, I believe, is we collectively realized George Lucas was right: he made those movies for kids. The same way he made the OT for kids in ‘77 and, now that those kids have all grown up, I feel like there’s been a chance for both generations to sort of bond over their mutual affection for the respective trilogies.

On the darker end of that, though: I think people just found something new to hate with the Disney stuff. I suspect the same thing will happen decades from now when people start lamenting the trash new, new trilogy and talking about how much they loved Babu Frik.:lol
