1/6 Hot Toys - HONŌ STUDIO - Classic Thor

Not crazy about the face sculpt (which might look better when more photos are released) but the rest is pretty much what I was expecting.

I do like this as I have an affinity for comic versions of figures, I will definitely preorder this. Very curious about the height of Thor.

It also looks better than the 3rd party Thor which I also preordered but it has yet to be released 2 year later. I am now fine if it never releases.

I'm also not keen on the sculpt but would be hard to resist at the Hono price point. Those arms are as jacked as anything I've seen on a Hot Toys figure.

Honestly pretty relieved that this one isn't doing it for me, since there are already 47 other things they showed this week that I'll need.

That's pretty much Hono's MO. I've only liked the first Wolverine, all the others have looked like market stall knock-offs.

Bulky, which is cool. The figure is not for me though.

Just don't think this design translates to "real life". It's very Halloween store bought costume.

I suppose it's the subject matter. Spider-Man wearing spandex works because that's exactly what it is.

I think the face sculpt is what lowers this one. Everything else looks alright to me for what these figures are.

I love the way it turned out. Looks like classic Thor to me

The face looks a bit...IDK...it does look like a detraction..

Too much wrinkles? Too realistic on a comic body. Stoic expression...

The face just looks off.

Face could definitely be improved but everything else looks great. Exactly what a classic Thor in fabric pajamas should look like.

Might not be perfect but Marvel fans are lucky getting these. Would love to see DC comic book figures. Instead we get Clooney Batman.

Echoing this. Looks very accurate to the comics I grew up with.

Now that I've finally seen it... not sure I need it. Good Classic look though.

You guys are nuts...I'm looking forward to completing my "Adventures in Babysitting" collection...

I think this looks great. No interest in Thor though.

Not for me but really love the superhero proportions that they're getting with these figures for the most part.

I was actually thinking about Hulk vs Thor from the 1978 Hulk TV/Movie series.

That's my Marvel. This modern trash MCU isn't what I consider my own...it's really those old movie and TV properties. They just meant more than a CGI universe.
