My only concern about ordering this early, is that as soon as I get mine, Lucky will have made significant adjustments/improvements to the sculpt maybe?

I hope if there's any specific tweak he's got in mind, that he does that first, and then starts rolling out the orders (@unrealtoys)

But what can I say? In its current form, the sculpt is beautiful, and I'm impatient to wait until next year if I can help it.

I reckon with more demand, that 3 month turnaround will surely grow. Especially when he'll be rolling out the 89 and Wolverine sculpts in the near future.

Just got OSK cape today and it looks so much better. The material is good but sucks that it doesn't have the stitch lines and accurate lining. One day I hope someone does it plus I feel with the Unreal sculpt it would look better.

It's been a while since I have purchased something from kit (literally year's) but overall it was a fantastic experience

Probably the hot toys it's still a great option but if I have to chose between the custom collar or the custom kit's cape I'll definitely chose the cape.

Maybe it would look better on the inArt figure

With my InArt Batman now taking over the shelfspace where Hot Toys Batman used to stand, I've finally had a chance to utilize him elsewhere, setting Hot Toys Batman up on his batcycle.

Batman and Batcycle weathered by me. Collar and neckpiece by Unreal Toys. Dart gun borrowed from Inart Batman, as the Standard Hot Toys Batman didn't come with one for some silly reason.

I still need to get some stronger wires into the Hot Toys cape for a more organic and exciting flow.

On that regular Hot Toys cape, what's the best way to separate the loop around the collar? Is restitching required to keep the velcro attached on the other side?

Not if you snip it carefully right down the center.

Apologies for the crappy IPhone pic but it’s more to give people an idea of what the outfit looks like.

It’s not bad imo but the tailoring is definitely not as good as the proto pics.

I like everything minus the ab section. There's no saving that part. But I wish I could treat the figure the same way for everything else.

Besides that suit mod I forgot Unreal toys seamless neck sculpt is probably the icing on the cake. That would probably make this look better. Is the abs you mean the armor section or the size of the stomach area?

The armor plating isn't realistically scaled or detailed. Throws off the entire thing.

On that note, I always felt the chest on the Hot Toys figure sat way too high. You can't set it lower without covering too much of the upper "plate".

Thanks very much!

Only mods done were slimming out the fatsuit at the waist and then running a black wash over the armour plate gaps, together with tamiya weathering to the plates themselves.
