I am getting a custom shelf made for my 1/4 IM's...I know there is the height on the SS website but I don't believe it includes the base...would anyone know how high I need to build my shelf?

So 1/4 Fett gets released early yet no sign of this........................:gah:

Ones hot a head sculpt and a base with some clothing. The other has a 100% new tooled full body and base. The mk43 has 90% more work.

I so can't wait for this piece to arrive! :panic: My only hope is that Hot Toys continue with this line and recreate some of the other classic armours

Will be a great feeling to finally own an Iron Man collectible that actually resembles Robert Downey Jnr as opposed to all the Iron Man statues I've owned in the past! :lol

Wish we will see 1/4 MK.6.....and dare I say, 1/4 Warmachine mk.1 to go along with it??? :thud: I'm all in on the 1/4 line hope they keep it going

Wow. This really shows the quality of the face sculpt on this piece. Just amazing.

Yeah, there have definitely been some bad RDJ head sculpts put out there since the first Iron Man movie.
This 1/4 scale one is a masterpiece, though… will never need another one after I pick this guy up!

Slightly OT but here is my 1/4 die cast warmachine that I got for a chaper price than 1/4 HT's. $500USD and also diecast. Why wait for HT? :rotfl

Why wait? First, the price of 500 is not what PI charged when it came out so that's not really an accurate comparison. When it was released, unless you got very lucky, it was north of 600 bucks. Next, the company that made it closed up and restarted under a new name, becuase they had so many quality control issues even authorized dealers would no longer carry stock. Pretty good reasons. As for diecast..that's not a big selling point. At least for me. It's 1940s technology that some marketing guy has turned around to make it cool again. Tonka toys where diecast. Diecast was used on some lines in the 80s. To me this is 3D all over. The TV tech that started in the 40s and makes a comeback every 15-20 years when a new group of people are around. It's not a big upside. Especially in a 1/4 scale. It's like being happy your statue is concrete. Being heavier is not something I ever thought would be a selling point. Crazy.

It's great your figure is fine and you enjoy it. But there are tons of reasons why people would go for hot toys over PI.

PI closed? Are they King Arts?

It measures 19 3/4s inches.

I own a variety of 1/4 Action Figures. I don't own any Statues. My Enterbay 1/4 scale are also measuring in at 18" tall. I'm guessing when it comes to a statues they just make it a little over the 1/4 standard .

The Mark 43 is supposed to be 20 inches I believe which is surprising because Hot Toys 1/4 offering are usually shorter than everyone else's.
