I can see why people rate it better than war machine due to the additional parts and the paint app looks great. But I like war machine over iron patriot just purely from the grey gunmental type look etc. But yea, both great figures, happy I've completed it. Need my shelf to get finished!

Congrats man... Glad you got him. I think his paint looks great and really pops. Don't forget to rotate the batteries with your finger to get them to make contact.

In the current middle of potentially moving houses so I might save some cash and not get my custom shelf built until a final decision is made.

what i love about these figures is how easy it is to swap the parts out!! much better than any other figure I have. literally takes a few second to pop out the parts for it

What distributer have you found that is actually selling him? Do you have official confirmation that he will ship?

From the last thing I heard these where not even for sale anymore. And when they do go up it will be under the CMC banner not PI.

I think this company was bought out by another, hence the change to Comicave.
I hope they can still deliver. I'm looking forward to their 1/4 Hulkbuster.

Not bought out. Just spun off. PI is still around. Just the marvel license and super alloy stuff was spun off into Comicave. With some new people added as well.

RE: Production status of 1/4 Scale Iron Man Mark 42 – Exclusive Edition

The quality control of the above item has been handed over to Comicave Studios, who are implementing inspection checks on all figures released.

After initial checks, they have found that the product quality has not reached suitable standards appropriate for release, and have therefore decided to hold back on the release, while further improvements are put in place.

The estimated release of the product will be December 2015, whereby pre-orders and distributor orders will be filled in the weeks following the initial release.

We sincerely apologise for the long delay, however Comicave Studios is determined to only release products which reach suitable quality standards.

So, as I said...it's an old email sent by the company that doesn't actually have any control over the product going forward. It was an estimate. Given CMC has not said anything I would not count on it shipping in the next ten days.
